It was 2050, on Earth. NASA currently making a shield around the Earth to protect it from any threats. I don't understand why, NASA hasn't seen any threats in space. Unless they are hiding something... April was staring out the school window, gazing out towards the sky. It's going to rain, perfect for the long walk home. "April Smith!" The teacher called out across the room. April surprised, looked at the teacher, embarrassed. All the kids laughed, cause she's the "mute" one. "Everyone be quiet! It's the end of the day, and all of us want to go him, but we only have 30 minutes before we can leave. So let's get this over with." The teacher barked over the laughter of the kids. It quieted down, a couple of kids were whispering and snickering. April wasn't really the most social kid either, that's why people call her a "mute". She had a small friend group, and everyone were pretty similar to each other. Artists and lovers of music. When the teacher finished his lesson, the bell rang minutes after. April grabbed her bag and shot out of the classroom faster than anyone else. She walked out the front door of the school, and started home. It started to rain, April smiled. She enjoyed the rain than anyone else she knows.
