"Hana, I need an update" 'Kotoba''s voice sounds through the coms of the headset.
"Target moving to east wing. Target seems to be cautious." I reply into the headset.
"Copy." 'Kotoba' says shortly.
Then the headset cuts off and I mutter a low 'fuck' to myself, when I hear the doors in the back slam open. I plug out my USB with my custom hacking system, then reset the computer and leave it, slipping on my backpack and slipping through a loose panel in the ceiling, chilling there for a bit while I hear the footsteps scurrying under me.
As quietly as possible, I pull out a disposable phone and text 'Kotoba' a quick '𝙿𝚕𝚊𝚗𝚜𝙵𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚎𝚍𝙾𝙼𝚆𝙾'. I then take out the memory card and throw it down a garbage shoot, on my way out of a window.
I get out on a rooftop and plan a jump from the rooftop to a second rooftop that's about 5 feet lower than the one im currently standing on.
Its first when I hear gunshots I start panicking, immediately taking the run and leaping.
What I first realise when I jump, is my miscalculation, then everything goes black for a moment.
