I wake up, a bad feeling in my stomach. I change my clothes, taking off my two layers and putting on a teal hoodie, about a size bigger than my body, making my body look tiny. I hide away my mask and cap.
I walk around collecting the motion sensors I set up the previous night, before walking to the desk and checking out. I put on a bright smile as I walk out the door, over to my car.
"Uh, excuse me, sir?" I hear a voice and I turn to be met with orange hair.
"Yes? Can I help you?" I ask, still smiling.
"Did you see anyone suspicious walk in, yesterday?" The orange haired male asks.
"There was a person that checked in yesterday. He was wearing a black cap and dark clothing, but I don't know if that would be considered suspicious" I say simply, tilting my head slightly.
"Do you know what room he booked into?" The orange-haired asks.
"Ah, I think.. a few rooms down from mine... So probably 7 or 9? Im sorry, how long is this gonna take? My sister's in the hospital and i'd like to get there before the sun falls." I say, looking into the ground sadly, when mentioning the made up sister.
The orange haired male apologizes and I think im on my way.
The orange haired male suddenly returns, holding something in his hand and soon, 3 other people are walking with him, towards me.
I quickly start my car and back up, onto the road and hit the petal.
As im driving I look down towards my right wrist, turning my upper arm upwards to see the digital styled clock on it counting down. 19:53
19 hours and 53 minutes till I meet my soulmate. But for right now, for all I know, im being chased by someone, not very pleased with me.
