After the Phantom Thieves are no more Futaba Sakura starts to retreat into her old habits until one day a mystery's presence pushes her outside her comfort zone.
As time went by Ebisu started to become Futaba's best friend. He could always make her smile and loved all of the same things as her. it was great having joker home for breaks but when he went to school she was so lonely. The only constant had been Ebisu. Everything was great. She had him when everyone was gone so she felt less lonely and when her friends were around she had even more fun.
The most recent topic of discussion was over Futaba's anxiety over the death of her mother's anniversary. Now that she was older she preferred to visit her grave on her own. But she still hated it. She had so many feelings about her mother and everything that happened and just didn't know how to deal with it. So instead she shuts down. She goes on super power saving mode and just doesn't talk to anyone. Ebisu noticed this change and did his best to cheer her up and be there for her but it wasn't enough.
The day finally came. Futaba packed her favorite photo of her and her mom and the curry she made the night before. She went to her grave and cleaned it up, placing the photo and the curry by the tomb.

"Im really sorry mom" Futaba cried and stayed for most of the day. She was getting really cold so she thought it was time to leave. She headed to her usual stop right in front of Leblanc. She sat there feeling sad and lonely. She didn't want to cry anymore so she played on her portal psp to keep her mind off of things. After some time, she started to feel weird. Like someone was watching her? she ever so slightly looked up.
There in the street were all of her friends. "Wow! What are you all doing here?"
"We are here to be with you!" Makoto said.
Futaba really needed this, she didn't want to admit it but having her friends here without asking was all she had ever wanted. She wasn't alone, not anymore. Futaba smiled trying not cry.

It had been ages since everyone was together again. To celebrate they made curry and hangout just like in the old days. Joker was making coffee when the bell on the door chimed.
"Sorry im late" Akechi apologetically bowed to Futaba.
She was touched he came "no worries, I didn't even care if you came" she teased but her smile revealed her gratitude of him showing up. Joker made everyone a plate "Dig in" he smiled
