Till death do us part chapter 1

Jamie's P.O.V

I'm your average collage Girl. well not average I wasn't the type who would party drink sleep with men.  No I guess I'm not average, I am 23 on my last year of collage to becoming a cop.

short brown hair 6,5 Pale skin  and blue ish grey eyes.  

well the class I was in was doing  Gun practice the sound of the gun shooting could almost be heard threw the ear muffs. The other forth year cadets whispered amonge each other as the other group of cadets did shooting. 

The news was talking about some virus that killed humans but then came back from the dead. they said the army and the government was taking control of it, but as one last shot was fierd screams began to be heard. then the booming of many shots. I looked up to see that about 20 foot ball feilds away there were these dead things walking quickly towards us...

I ran.

first to the armery grabbing a duffle bag.

then running to the gate

((the gate was chain so the walkers just got threw easly by pilling up))

My boots clapped against the concrete.

everything was fussy. the Adrenalin had kicked in

I looked to see others on the ground with those things eating my friends  and other people. Many cars were gone they others that fled used cars to leave.

I ran to 4x4 Ford that had been painted black with the word police written on the side of the car .

I took the key out from the  sun gaurde and then jammed it into the key hole.

i heard banging on the door side.

it was rotted dead blood covered it was a dead thing.

I stepped on it the car zoomed fast in the direction of my god fathers house. He had a a son that was in his last year of collage named Andy . I just hope they are safe.

many of those things were on the  road just roaming turning there heads as the car dashes by. 

"I don't understand they said the army had things under control!"I yelled to nobody in paticular. those dead things were walking in the road as if they had no destination only following the sound or roaming.

It  had been an hour since i had been driving. as I approached the small town of St. Marys . Only a few of the dead ones were outside so i guessed that people evacuated quickly to bigger cities. The radio had informed me that the city was safe that they were going to turning it into a refuge. Don't they understand that they are just gathering up the food. and the more sound there is the louder the dinner bell. Surely some others thought this threw....Right?

Andy must of' he is intelligent top of his class. I let out a sigh when i saw Andy sitting on his roof with his crossbow out.  He had a considerated expression glued to his face. when he saw me pull into his drive way his face lit up, when i got out of the car he told be to jump his backyard fence and he'd let me In.

I did so and when i was in his backyard i could see that all the lights were off. everything was quiet except for the groand and moans of the dead things.

Andy opend the screen door and usurer me in.

the house was a mess things knocked over blood stains... it was horrible. I looked up at Andy to find tears streaming down his face I pulled him into a hug.

"Andy what happend here...?" I asked in a soft voice.

"H-He is d-d-dead.." Andy responded threw tears of sadness and happyness.

"Todd..."I said threw tears.

Andy nodded in response , I've never seen him cry. 

"H-How are you alive?!" He said is surprise

"I ran got a car and came here"I respond .

I looked at the duffel bag on my sholder that was filled with guns and ammo.

"You stole that from your school!!!!" Andy looked at me with an amused face.

"I AM CALLING THE POLICE!!" Andy yelled at me with a grin.

"I am the police twit" I laughed.

Andy brought me uptairs to my old room that i stayed in since i was 10 since my parents had died from a car accident. So I came to live with my god father Todd.

Andy was a a foot shorter then me he had green eyes a blond hair that i had always been jealous of. He had tanned skin and freckles were on his cheeks.

I placed the duffle bag down on my bed and opend it. I pulled out an M9 and a Ruger LC9S, I popped in some ammo for both guns and placed the M9 on my belt.

I handed the Ruger to Andy and he placed it in his front pocket the held the gun well.

"The geeks are attracted to sound and light so we should only use these for emergency, and only shoot or attack the head that kills em for good."Andy explained to me.

"Geeks?" I questioned him.

"well geeks seem so lifeless all the time slumped sholders dragging themselves around." Andy told me.

"That makes scense" I awnsered him.I then looked in my closet and moved a floor board revealing the same crossbow as Andy only mine had my name engraved in it. Todd had given us these crossbows as a christmas gift when I was 14, and i am now 21 years old.

Andy gave me a big smile. and gripped his cross bow.

"How long have you been alone Andy?"I asked giving him an unsure look.

"I'm not alone you remember Austin" Andy said in happy voice.

Austin had been my childhood friend we had planned to go to collage together but... he had changed once he got sec five.  He had decided he was to good for me and acted as if i wasn't there slowly our friendship faded. He would try and start conversation with me... but i would avoid him.soon enough I went to collage and i hadn't heard from him in six years.

"yeah" I growled threw grinted teeth

"well he has a group on the other side of town, he sent me out for other survives and for supplies.. He has  been worried about you and asks about you" Andy tells me. He then pulls out a walkie talkie.Andy  clicks the button and says, "Post one to post zero Over", there is static for a minute and then there is a response "Post Zero to post one over" a voice responds.

"I will return tomorrow to bring back what i have found Over" Andy informed the voice.

"We will have the Gate open when you get here at 10 am Over" The voice said.

"post one to post zero over and out" Andy said and then clicked the button to turn the walkie talkie and set it back on his bag.

"who was that Andy?" I asked unsure of if i know them.

" It's a man named Tallahassee he had a son but he passed away" Andy said tiredly

I nodded.

"we should sleep we gotta get up early tomorrow."

"yeah"

we both returned to our rooms and turned in for the night.
