Till death do us part chapter 3

Jamies P.O.V

"Wake up Jamie we need to go!".

I awoke in a cold sweat, my breathing was heavy. I looked up and saw Andy.

"get a bag and gather cloaths and pack some weapons" Andy said in a quiet voice.

"The moaning was louder now then it was yesterday" I pointed out. among the moaning there was loud banging against walls of the outside.

"we need to leave quickly. There must of been another group that wants us dead so the fired there guns outside!!". Andy was terrified  his hands were fidgeting. I got up grabbed my old school bag and  shoved the nesicaries Into it. I picked up the duffle bag swinging it over my sholder. I then picked up my crossbow and gave Andy a nod telling him I am ready. We hear glass breaking and the door giving in, Andy runs into Todds room pulling down a ladder and climbs up it. I follow behind and pull the laddder up and shutting the latch. Andy opêns the window of the addict and climbs onto the roof. he looked at me and waited. I slowly walked over to him and climbed onto the roof. In the Town I live in Andys house is right next the the neighbors. so close that you could jump to the other side.

Andy ran and jumped over to the neighbours roof, he caught himself on the edge and pulled himself up. I pulled the duffle bag off my sholder and tossed it over to him. Andy caught the duffle bag and  waited for me. I jumped over to the house and and i caught my self I heard a child like scream from inside the house. I listen and heard moaning the child was being eaten. I covered my mouth and followed Andy to another a few other roofs and we then jumped down.

"We are going to need to run just follow me and try to not make a sound"And whispered.

We began to run.

my boots clapped against the ground and Andys shoes hit the ground softly.

we ran for what seemed like an hour. 

Andy stopped in the back of a large home with an 10 foot tall wall of stone surrounding it.

I heard people talking on the other people talking and among those voices I heard Austin telling them that it was not the time to start fighting against the other groups that we needed to re enforce this place. Andy pulled out his walkie talkie and clicked a button .

"Post Zero to post one over"

"Post one to post Zero over."The walkie awnserd 

"I have arrived and I have a surrvivor. Over".

A ladder was then thrown over the wall and Andy climed over and had me follow.

As soon as my feet hit the ground i was attacked by a hug.the duffle bag dropped from my sholder. I looked up at who had hugged me an I see Austin.

"J-Jamie I am so sorry I Can't believe y-you,re alive!" Austin said worriedly.

I stared at him blankly and nodded, I pick up the duffle bag and look around. There were at least 15 men and six woman. the woman looked tierd and sleep deprived. the men looked worse.  "what kind of place are you running here Calebs." I asked ((calebs is AUstins last name)).

"Pardon?" he asked dumbfounded. 

"Your people are sleep deprived under armed and vulnerable in this state." I pointed out to him.

Austin took a look at his people and told them to go inside and rest. He then turned to me and and gave me a warm smile.

"I knew you'd be alive and the first thing you'd do is try to correct me " He then laughed. 

"Well I only survived because i ran and left my friends behind, But I did manage to grab some guns "I pointed  to the the duffle bag.

Austin smiled and began to walk to the big house. 

"C'mon let me show you where we keep every thing."Austin said while leading me to the house.
