I didn't know what to say after that so I gave him a bowl and let him go. I watched him as he sat in the back next to a bunch of old people.

I must have been staring at him for a very long time because old guy that looked like a dwarf cleared his throat to indicate that he wanted some food. I was about to hand him a bowl when I realized that I remember him already getting food. I said,"Um I don't think you can have seconds."

I tried to be as nice as I good so a riot won't break out. He simply said,"How do you know this isn't going to be my last meal sunny?"

This time I didn't want to be so nice because people were still waiting to get there food," Well you should have enjoyed your last bowl because I ain't going give you any more because people still need to get there's."

He growled and walked away. Relieved I gave the next person the bowl. A moment later The kid came up to me across the counter. I thought he was there to see if he could get another bowl so I ignored him. Finally he said," Hi."

Yes that simple hi. More than I could with my social skills. "Um hey buddy watcha need?

"You English is bad who was your teacher?" he replied. I normally don't like to be told off like that but this kid I could make an exception for.

"I don't remember."

"Well they probably weren't important to you then. I bet you took that class for granted because you think you know everything. " He sounded like my mom but in a kid voice.

"Oh well sorry do you want me to start talking like Shakespeare or something?"

"No but you could do better."

Great a little kid telling me how to speak. Whats wrong with this kid?! He seems pretty funny though. Where's his family? All these thoughts were going through my head as I passed out the soup

It was four when the manager came up to me and said," You have done enough today so you can go now."

"Thank the God up in heaven!!" I wanted to yell, but  I was too tired to do it. Instead I nodded and started to clean up.

"I expect to see you tomorrow though," the old man said raising a grey eyebrow.

"NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!" I also wanted to say but didn't.

Instead,"Okay.

I walked out of the building taking a deep breath. When I thought I was free The kid who seemed to be waiting and sitting on the curb got up and walked up to me.

"Hey I was waiting for you for a while," he said happily.

I unhappily replied,"Oh great. Um nice. What did you want?"

"Oh I was just thinking we could be friends so I just want to talk to you some more," Haro said simply shrugging his skinny shoulders.

"Why do you want to be friends with a loser like me?"

"I can make you a winner!"

"What does that supposed to mean?"

"I can help you do better at life because you are having trouble by yourself."

"Hey I think I doing a pretty good job!" I protested.

"Do you have a job?"

"No."

"Do you have a college degree?"

"No! Why are you asking me these questions?!? You aren't my mom! You are just some little kid that's doesn't have a home!" I finally busted out.

"I am just trying to help you!"

"How?! You are just a little kid!"

"Well for starters I can help by getting you out of helping at the Salvation Army," The boy said.

That caught my attention. "You can?" I whispered.

"Yes I can."

"What's the cost?" I asked.

"I need two things; a home to live in and the other one I will tell you when you are ready" Haro said simply.

"What do you mean? I am ready for anything!"I protested.

"I don't think so," he pointed to my car.

I was about to ask why he was pointing to my car when I saw a little paper on my dirty windshield. I walked to over my little truck and picked up the little paper.

It said, You have illegally parked here your fine will be $45. Please call this number so find out how to pay for this.

"What?!" I could believe this.

Haro came up to me and said," You need help reading this?"

"Um no I am just confused why I got this."

"Well... people usually get those when they illegally park some where."

"Gee you're bright. Come in we are going home or to my home anyways." I opened the back door but he went to the passenger seat.
