Chapter 2

The forest^
Rylan's P.O.V.

The rogue had been walking for about ten minutes and I layed against his chest,finally feeling safe.I was content and so was Kane.I smiled for the first time without Kane causing it.I felt free.He suddenly walked into a clearing with his pack following him.By the smell I could tell that the territory wasn't marked.

The house>

It was less fashionable;but it looked warm and gentle, yet it looked menacing and cold at the same time."Are you okay?"He asked me as I stared at the house in awe."Yes,"I said in a soft, kind voice.I heard some of the pack members awe which made my face turn a light shade of pink.Which made my blond hair stick out more.

The rogue holding me walked up the stairs on the porch and opened the door.Let me add that he held me with ONE HAND.He walked inside and set me on a couch in what I'm guessing is the living room.

The living room>

I looked around as new faces started flooding into the room looking at me curiously."Alpha why did you bring an outsider onto our pack land?"A snotty looking boy said to the rogue that had been carrying me.I was shocked that he was the alpha.I shrunk to half my normal size as I showed my neck and squeezed my eyes shut as Kane tried to calm me down."Shh,It's okay little omega I won't hurt you like your other pack,"said the alpha as I trembled like a newborn pup in winter.The pack gasped when they heard that my pack had hurt me, a few males actually let out low growls as I whimpered.

"Alpha, do you want to give him to a stronger pack so they can protect him and not worry about enemy attacks?"Asked a girl from the back of the group in the living room."That's a great idea!"Yelled the alpha happily as a huge fox like grin settled on his face.

"We can give him to the Red Star pack,"said the alpha as his eyes scanned over my shaking form."Let's get you a room little one,"said the alpha with a small comforting smile.My shaking slowly subsided as I stood, listening to the cooing from the pack at the sight of my height.

I blushed and looked down as the cooing only increased.I followed the alpha out of the room and down a hallway, stopping when we reached an oak door."This is your room,"he said shooing me in.I gasped at the beautiful sight of the room.

The room>

I teared up as I looked at the room.I turned around and bowed as to show my gratitude.I burst into tears when he leaned down to hug me."Thank you-sniffle-so much!"I said as I looked at him with big watery blue eyes."No problem,"he said smiling at me as I wailed."Good night,"he said as he was about to walk out of the door."Wait what's your name?"I practically screamed."Kaylub,"he said smiling as he walked out the door and closed it with a soft thud.I smiled to myself and looked to my left.I saw a door that I hadn't even realized was there.I walked closer and opened the door.I poked my head in and saw that it was actually a bathroom.

My smile grew ten fold as I ran in and stripped out of my old,ripped,and smelly clothes.I hadn't taken a shower in so long that I was surprised I wasn't a dirt covered monster.I started the water checking the temperature every few minutes.Once the water was luke warm I stepped into the shower.I closed my eyes in ecstacy as the water flowed easily over every curve and article of skin on my body.

I smiled to myself as I grabbed the shampoo and lathered up my hair after wetting it.I sighed as I rubbed my scalp in happiness.I stuck my head back under the shower head as I washed out the shampoo.I grabbed the conditioner and put it in my hair as I hummed to myself.I rubbed the conditioner into my hair, feeling an almost instant silkiness.I felt like I hadn't been this happy and safe for years.

I quickly washed out my hair and washed my body before stepping out of the shower, making sure to turn the water off.I wrapped a towel from under the sink around my shoulders and walked out of the bathroom, making sure the towel went past my thighs.

When I entered the room I looked around and saw a dresser sitting across from the bed and walked over to it.It didn't really suprise me when all the clothes were more than half my size.I sighed and let out a small chuckle as I let the towel fall down around my ankles.I took out a large shirt and dropped in over my head and onto my slim body.

I giggled when I looked in the mirror and saw that the shirt hung slightly off of my shoulders, exposing them to the nice air conditioning.Kane laughed in my head and then asked,"Do you think mate will like us?"I froze a little and then tried my best to assure him."Of course mate will like us, how could anybody not love us Kane?"I said out loud not caring if anyone heard, my biggest priority at the moment was Kane.

"You're the best human a wolf could have!"Kane cried in my head as I smiled and let out a small purring sound that omegas can produce if happy or trying to calm someone down.

"Good night Kane,"I said kindly as I heard Kane reply with a sniffle and an okay, good night.I smiled to myself as I laid down on the soft bed, enjoying the feeling of the cloud like fabric as I climbed under the blanket.I started to doze off thinking of my mate as I slowly drifted off to sleep dreaming of him excepting me and Kane.I tried to keep my eyes open just incase Kane needed me for emotional support.When I heard him snoring softly in my head I chuckled and let darkness consume me.
