Chapter 4

Red Star pack house^
Rylan's P.O.V.

I watched as my mate looked at where Cole had landed and scowled.He walked over to me and enveloped me in his arms as I smiled and started to purr.He let out a chuff of approval and let go of me."What is your name sweet heart?"He asked as I blushed at the pet name."R-Rylan,"I answered shyly."Well I am Jacob, cutie,"Jacob said as he tucked a piece of my curly blond hair behind my ear.

I let out another short purr until I remembered that Kaylub, Brice, Cam, and Luke were still here.I blushed beat red as I realized they were watching me.I turned to look at the others and realized EVERYONE had shifted back and were staring right at me.Brice, Cam, and Luke were laughing their asses off at my embarrassment while Kaylub watched with a lazy grin.

"S-shut it you three!"I said in embarrassment making them laugh harder.Even Jacob was laughing a bit now."Jacob,"I whined."Yessss?"He questioned skeptically."You'll have to catch me to find out!"I said as I shifted into Kane and took off after his old scent trail as me and Kane laughed as everyone started chasing us.I finally saw the pack house and someone was walking out as I bolted in making them think it was an attack.

They yelled for others to get me as Jacob finally ran through the door.I made it to the kitchen and jumbed into a cabinet, quietly closing it with my snout as Jacob, and some other members I'm guessing, ran into the kitchen.I watched their puzzled faces in amusement through the crack in the cabinet.Usually wolves were to big to fit into cabinets, but because of my abnormally small size I was comfy as hell in the cabinet.

They started searching the cabinets, and when a guy about six foot was infront of my cabinet I jumped out at him making him fall and giving me enough time to run.I was almost out of the kitchen when the same guy tackled my small body to the floor.Me and Kane were dying of laughter at the astonished look on the pack members' faces when they saw my small size, well everyone but Jacob who was also laughing.

"Good game Rylan,"Jacob said as the guy that had caught me handed me to Jacob like I was nothing.'Yeah good game Rylan, but me and Jacob won," Kane said inside my head."TRADER!"I gasped in betrayal to Kane, who in turn started dying of laughter.The pack members were highly confused as to why Jacob hadn't ripped my head off yet."Oh yeah,"He said and then his eyes glazed over and then he started to walk to the first room I saw when I entered the house.I'm guessing it was the couch due to the three pretty big lavender scented couches.

Jacob sat on one of the couches and I curled up beside him and layed my head on his thigh as pack members began to flood into the living room as they whispered and nudged each other while pointing at me.I watched some childred come over to me.Me and Kane absolutely love children.I lifted my head and wagged my tail as I stood up and jumped down by them making them giggle.The children all crowded me and pet me since I was only about as tall as a five year old.The older kids even came to play with me as I played tag with the kids.

All the children were laughing and having fun as parents talked amoung themselves as Jacob watched me happily.Jacob then stood up and called me over.I nuzzled all the little kids and got pet a few more times by the older kids as I left and trotted over to Jacob."Red Star pack I would like to anounce my mate and your new Luna Rylan,"Jacob said as a few pack members stopped to take in the fact that I was male.The pack females were suprised that I was male because males usually  don't pay attention to other people's pups.

The kids quickly surrounded me again as the parents cheered.They all started to question me as Jacob tossed a teen some clothes, since he was close to the middle, the kid gave me the clothes and the other kids let me out of the circle so I could shift and come back.I trotted into a random room and shifted back.I changed into the grey sweat pants that were clearly meant for a girl since they actually fit me, and the navy blue shirt that was still a size to big.I didn't really like it because I had another cent on me besides the kid's and Jacob's.

I walked back into the living room and walked up to the kids, which were all my height or shorter.'Hah, shorty, Kane said to me in my head."You're small too stupid,"I said to Kane smiling brightly when he fake gasped and said I give in.I continued my walk to the kids and they looked at me curiously."Where is Mr .Luna?"A little ten year old looking girl, about my height, asked a thirteen-ish looking boy."Who knows,"said the boy dismissively.I put my hand on my heart in fake hurt and said,"Am I really so short that you thought I was a kid?"I said in fake hurt.

The kids looked at me and all the teens looked surprised that I was shorter than them, but I knew they felt superior because they were taller.The reason I knew is because I now had the teens using me as an arm rest."Oh come on,"I pouted as Kane laughed at me.Just then a little girl, about six years old, came up to me and gave me a hug.All the kids looked astonished, but I didn't know why."Why are yall so surprised?"I asked them as I wrapped my arms back around the little girl and sat down on the floor as the little girl climbed into my lap."She is an omega ,"said one of the children as the children backed away from her even the teens backed up.I growled lowly in anger as I saw myself in the poor little omega in my arms.I saw how many bruises she had on her body, I saw how many cuts where on her from hitting the ground to hard.

Me and Kane...were enraged.I let a fierce growl cut the chatter of the living room and pack."HOW COULD YOU ABUSE AN OMEGA?"I yelled furiously through the living room silencing and scaring kids and adults that weren't paying attention.I was for once, glad to be an omega."Omegas are nothing except child producing slaves,"said Jacob as I teared up holding the now crying child to my chest."Am I really a child producing slave Jacob?"I asked in tears."Y-You're an omega?"Jacob asked in clear shock as I nodded and Kane whimpered in my mind.Some of the pack members looked shocked.The kids I had been playing with just minutes ago were now by their parents, looking at me almost crying out of pity.

A random pack member looked at the little girl in my arms in hate and walked towards me."Don't l-let m-m-m-mommy hurt me,"said the little girl softly so only I could hear her.I growled at the lady and she growled back.Jacob was looking at the situation curiously."Give me my ugly child!"said the mother as I growled louder."DON'T CALL HER THAT,"I yelled at the women.She sneered at me in disgust as her husband I guess, walked behind Jacob and suddenly grabbed him.I was confused until I realized.The mom is going to beat me until I give her back.

I growled at the mother and wrapped my body protectively around the little girl's body, which made my body look huge, until she couldn't be hurt or seen.Jacob started to struggle once the husband had put chains around his ankles and wrists because he realized what was about to happen to me.The mother started to kick me full force on the back and sides.Her husband came over after Jacob was locked up, and started to punch the side of my face and abdomen.I whispered sweet nothings to the girl to keep her calm between my yelps and whimpers.I could feel blood leaving some wounds as the couple kept pounding me so they could get to their daughter.Hopefully as the pack members watch they realize loving and caring omegas are, and how they will sacrifice themselves for people who need help.

After two hours of staying securely around the little girl as Jacob screamed and cried trying to save me, the couple gave up and left the room.I waited a few seconds before releasing the sleeping girl in my arms.I looked at the pack members and kids that had watched.I stood up as I told Kane that he could go to sleep and I would be okay.I slowly limped over to Jacob and picked the locks with my nails.He fell to the ground and hugged me as he sobbed."I will stop the pack from hurting omegas anymore, omegas don't deserve that treatment from us and hopefully some people realized that from your heroic act,"Jacob said as I heard a yelp from behind me.

I turned around and watched as the mother grabbed the little girl and ran out the front door.I immediately shifted into Kane and ran out of the door with a shifted Jacob right behind me.

Hey guys, I tried really hard with this chapter just trying to make it a little longer.I tried to slow the story down so I added some drama which I am going to continue when I get off of school I'm planning to wright the next chapter :)
