Chapter 12

Rylan's P.O.V.

I laughed quietly under my breath as Jacob got up and hugged his parents. 'I hope he likes his hair do,' Kane said as he laughed in my mind.I snorted and clamped my hands over my mouth as Jacob turned to look at me."Are you okay Rylan?"Jacob asked worriedly as I nodded my head.I didn't trust my voice at the moment and wasn't planning on speaking anytime soon."Well if you're sure..."Jacob said as he looked questioningly at his parents who were trying not to laugh just as hard as me."Why don't we go get some family time in the back yard with Eve?"Lauren asked to which I nodded enthusiastically.I know I am being over protective but I have missed my little girl ever since she left.

Jacob laughed and nodded as I let a smile stand firm on my face."Let's get moving then,"said Lake as he smiled at us.I shifted into Kane as we started walking to the back yard where I heard Eve playing.I sped up with a yip and a small head tilt making Jacob and my step parents smile and laugh.When I turned the corner with Jacob and his parents I had almost forgotten that Jacob currently had pink hair.That was until the whole living room erupted in laughter.I started to make wierd chuffing and weezing sound combined with whimpers and barks.Let's just say that laughing is not my forté.

Jacob was looking at me with wide eyes."Rylan are you okay?"Jacob asked as he looked at my still laughing form."Rylan why are y'all laughing?Rylan?"Jacob asked as he looked around with confusion clear in his eyes."Y-your hair!Al-pfft-Alpha your hair is pink!"One of the female pack members said in between laughs as I laughed even harder than before.I watched as Jacob's face went blank and he looked over at me.I had to stop myself from letting my blatter go as I watched him grin."Let's go play with Eve,"Jacob said as he went back to all smiles.Oh hell no.I am not falling for that.I let my ears twitch and then reajusted them up onto the top of my head as I took up a steady trot to the back door so that I could see my one and only pup, Eve.

Lauren caught up with me once I got to the back door and opened it for me so that I could get to my pup.As soon as the door was out of my way I ran into the thick, soft grass.I ran over to Eve while she was running from a little wolf pup.'I guess they are playing tag' I thought as I ran over to them."Mama!"Eve yelled as she ran over to me.She encased me in a hug as I let out a purr full of as much love as I could fill it with.

"Mama want to play tag with me and Stary?"Eve asked as I wagged my tail and got into a play bow."Yay!"Eve said as she ran over to Stary to tell her that I am playing.I yipped and hopped around in the grass as Jacob and his parents came out.I watched as they joked around and gave each other nuggies.I huffed as Eve tackled me into the grass with a goofy grin."Stary said mama can play,"Eve said with a closed I smile.I let my tongue droop out of my mouth and licked Eve's cheek.I smiled when an ew left her mouth and she began rubbing at the spot with her sleeve.

Hey guys!I keep looking at where I stopped and wondering what I should write next chapter.I am pretty happy with my story so far.I am planning to stop it when I think it's long enough.I might add some drama in too but I can't promise anything because I get bored fast.Like REALLY fast.Well see yah.
