Why I dream about you again?
You had a fight with me
Fighting on some petty things
At an empty corridor where nobody see
Unleashing your distress in madness
Till the waterworks flow non stop
Why I dream about you again?
Running away from the truth
Realizing you are not the same person anymore
Drowning me deeper in despair
Breaking our vows to pieces
Nothing can seal it the same way again
Why I dream about you again?
Walking out from the shower when you see me
Urging to approach me
While I enter that freshly scent of shower gel in the room
Closing the gap
Slowly weeping in silence
Why I dream about you again?
When you knock the door desperately
Urges me to open a bit; no peeking
I open the door a bit when you hand a few pictures
Your pictures with quotes from our moments together
The healing words from you
Why I dream about you again?
I dash outside when I can still see your figure
Your faint smile with your favourite dark blue and red checkered shirt and black slacks
Looking at me as if it is the last time you see me
Whispering your words in silence
Before walking away from that corridor
Why I dream about you again?
I walked into another building
Searching for a place when I accidentally entered a room
The room where I can hear your voice chant the verse from the holy book
Surrendering yourself to the Only One
With the guilts and regrets lingering around you
Seeking forgiveness to the One we hold our faith from
I left the room in silence
Not trying to call nor prying any longer
Suddenly, I woke up from my deep slumber
In a black box with the laptop on
I realize it was a dream after all
At one point, I whispered to myself
Why I dreamt about you again?
Hoping this will be the last dream about you
As you will soon walk away to follow your fate
Indifinitely, this red thread will sever its ties soon
For we are no longer have a bond anymore.
