CLARY POV

I walk into the institute. I was sent to Idris to speak about sebastian. Jace hadn't come he claimed he was not feeling well. As I walked in the door I saw izzy. "Clary your back early!" she exclaimed

"Yea izzy" I said "where's jace I want to surprise him"

" He's up in his room he hasn't been out all week."

"Thanks izzy"

I ran up the stairs to jaces room and opened the door. ' No ' I thought 'this can't be happening'! because he was in bed totally naked with another girl. "JACE" I screeched

He looked at me, grabbed his shorts and pulled them on. he stood up and said "Clary I am so sorry! I can explain!"

"i don't wanna hear it" I was crying now. I sprinted towards my room but jace caught my arm.

"Clary let me explain!" he says

"No jace I saw enough to know what happened" I yelled " I know u had sex with her so obviously you don't love me the way I loved you" I ripped my arm from his grasp and ran down the hall way to my room. I grabbed a duffle bag stuffed in a lot of my clothes, pictures of me mom and Luke, a picture of me Alec Magnus izzy and jace, And a picture of just me and jace. I grabbed my steel and seraph blade. I herd shouting outside my door and the hinges cracking I set down the note I wrote earlier and then drew a portal rune in the wall. the portal opened I imagined a place where I could go that no one would find me then I burned the rest of my stuff with a rune. As I was about to step through the portal the door came busting Down.

"Clary STOP" yelled Alec he had become likes brother to me

"I have to go I am sorry then I stepped thru the portal.
