Chapter 35: Fever

Y/n Pov:
I opened my eyes slowly. And I saw...

Jennie. Her gaze is different. There is worriedness and sadness in her eyes

"H-How are y-you?" Jennie asked
"Why are you here?" I asked back
"Y-Your h-hyungs called u-us to t-take c-care of you" Jennie said
"I-I'm fine now. You can go" I said coldly
"B-But y-your hand is still h-hot" Jennie looks at our intertwined hands then blushed hard.

I forgot! My hand still intertwined with hers

"I-I-I can t-take care o-of myself n-now" I said and released her hand
"B-But Y-Y/n y-" I cut Jennie's words
"I said I'm fine" I said coldly and look away from her gaze

Jennie remain silent but I can feel her gaze was still on me

"Why are you like this?" Jennie asked seriously. I turned my head to her and saw her eyes becoming teary
"What are you saying?" I asked back
"Y-You keep on i-ignoring me" Jennie said as a tear fell from her eye. I remained silent. I was speechless on what she had said
"You're n-not just i-ignoring me. Y-You're also h-hurting me" Jennie sniffles. Her tears were flowing agressively from her eyes

I can't take to see a girl cry in front of me. I can't take to see Jennie cry because of me. But my mind is telling me. I am doing this for their own sake. For their friendship. For everybody. For everyone.

"T-Tell me Y-Y/n! W-Why?!" Jennie yelled
"It's just.." I didn't comtinue my sentence and look down
"I love you so much. I d-didn't e-even dare to g-give u-up on y-you! Yet y-you're already giving up on us! Lisa, Rose and me loved you. I d-don't know why are you acting l-like t-this. My strong heart became weak without you. I-I m-missed y-you. I missed you s-so bad" Jennie sniffled
"Why?! Tell me Y/n!T-Tell me!" Her voice cracked

She started punching my chest weakly

"Tell me. Tell me Tell me" Jennie continously punching my chest

I held both of her hands to prevent her from punching.

"Look at me" I demanded her

She looked at my eyes with sadness. Her tears didn't stop to flow

"Mianhe. But I have to do this" I said sincerly
"Why? Why do you need to do that?" She asked

I didn't answer. She struggled to lossen on my hold. Before she can escape from my hold. I immediately hugged her. She cried on my chest

"I love you. I love you. I love you" She punches my chest weakly

We stayed like that for a while. I heard a cute snore from Jennie

"You slept already?" I asked. No answer

I place her gently on my bed and put the blanket over her

"I wish you guys can understand what I am doing" I said and left the room

I went to the living room and also shocked on what I saw....

Rose was there

"Oh! Y/n. Where's Jennie unnie?" Rose asked
"S-She is sleeping" I pointed the room
"How are you?" She went into me and checked my forehead
"I'm fine" I removed her hand from my forehead
"But you still have fever" Rose worriedly said
"I can take care of myself" I said coldly

I went to the couch and turned on the TV

"Did you even know?" Rose asked all of a sudden
"Know what?" I asked back confusedly
"That Jennie unnie cries every night. Lisa always texts Jungkook about you. Me. I always understand you and I know your doing this for the sake of our friendship" Rose blurt out. She is holding back her tears
"You know the reason why am I doing this? Then why are you keep on chasing me. Can't you just forget m-" I was cutted
"Forget you? How will I forget you if you're the one I love. How will I forget you if you're the cause of my beating heart. Even I know already that you love someone else" Rose answered. Her tears already flowed
"But Rose-" I was cutted again
"Can't you just forget about Jisoo unnie said? She didn't mean it. She just said it because her mind was full of problems. Please Y/n. Can you see us as friends again?" Rose asked

I looked down on my lap. I realized that I made Rose cry. I went into her and wiped her tears

"Look at me" I raised her chin
"I'm sorry for the things I've done. But. I just can't. I don't know. Somethings holding me back" I replied
"Y/n" Rose cupped my cheeks
"Sorry for everything" I walked away and went to the balcony

I opened the door and I saw another member of Blackpink

"Hey Y/n. How are you?"
