Silence, that was all that came from Jude's mouth, hanging open. She stared at the ring I had pulled from my pocket, shocked. I nudged her gently, eyeing the guests. She seemed to snap back to reality, and she nodded her head, holding out her left hand.
"Y-yes... Yes!" her voice was laced with venom, though her false enthusiasm hid it from everyone else.
