Bellamy - I Got Your Back

I've posted the first chapter of my book Hybrid on my other account, TamoriaClitton! I hope you enjoy it, I worked really hard on this first chapter and I would love to have your opinion on it! Comment below if you read it and tell me what you think!

"Clark," I yelled from across the grounder camp, I was with Bellamy at the front gate. I stood staring at her wide-eyed as I stood next to Finn, he had a gun in his hand and he was still shooting the grounder village, "Finn," I screamed at him but he wouldn't listen, I grabbed him by the arm, "Finn, stop look," When he turned towards me with knitted eyebrows, I pointed towards Clark and he shot his head in that direction.

She slowly was walking towards us with her mouth open, she was surely shocked at the sight she was seeing. Murphy stood behind me and went to grab my arm but Bellamy stepped forward and grabbed my hand, pulling me away from the mess, "What happened?" He asked me and I furrowed my eyebrows at him, shaking my head.

"I don't know, we were just asking them where the rest of our people were then the next Finn was shooting out of nowhere. I swear, Bell why did I have to come with him," I whispered as tears filled my eyes, he grabbed me quickly and pulled me into a hug. We weren't close so I was shocked at the close contact we were having, "What are we going to do?" I asked him. 

He pulled away from me, "We'll figure it out," I turned to see Clark was only inches away from Finn but she wouldn't let him touch her, he reached out for her but she backed away. I turned back towards Bellamy, he was looking at Clark with his eyebrows furrowing together. 

Once we were back at came it was completely dark outside, I was sitting with Clark at one of the tables that were placed just outside the Ark, "What happened Y/n?" She questioned me, I kept my eyes to the table, "Y/n, why didn't you stop him," I snapped my head up towards her and knitted my eyebrows together. 

"I did, Murphy barely tried to stop him," I muttered and I sat back in my seat, taking in a deep breath, "He kept pushing me away but I tri-," But she cut me off by slamming her hands on the table, she was glaring at me by now. 

"You could have tried harder now everyone here thinks he is a murderer," She screamed at me, everyone was staring at us by now. Why wouldn't she blame the other person that was there? I couldn't quite understand.

"Stop yelling at me," I said through gritted teeth, "I didn't do anything wrong, I tried but he just kept shooting so don't be blaming me like I'm the one that was pulling the trigger," I lost it and shot up in my seat and so did she.

"Clarke cool down," I heard Bellamy's voice yell from across the yard, he came running over and stood beside me.

"Oh, of course, you are going to you are going to choose her side on this when she is the one that was at fault," She started yelling at him but I stepped in front of him, holding up my hand, "What are you going to do Y/n, you have nothing on me so don't go start with me," She continued to scream at us. 

"You have no idea what I have on you," I screamed back at her, "So don't you dare go threatening me when I did nothing wrong," I started to calm down when Bellamy grabbed my wrist and rubbed his thumb against my skin, "And you better not bring anything he's done into this either," I spoke with gritted teeth. 

I pulled him inside the Ark while everyone stared at us, once we were inside, I hugged him. He wrapped his arms around me, "You didn't have to do that," He mumbled against my neck, I breathed in. Inhaling his scent, it was musty but I found comfort in it as well. 

"I swear I tried to stop him," I whispered. 

"Shhh, don't worry I know. She's just upset, she'll get over it," He pulled away and looked at me fully, "Don't worry, I got your back Y/n," He muttered then hugged me again, I liked being in his arms. I was just glad that he had my back when everyone was against me.
