Thomas dream was simple. Having a family that actually cares about him. He knows how are there really mom and dad but he remembers absolutely nothing about them, he only looks at them as strangers that are crazy because they tell him that they are his parents. He was really confused about it because when he looks at them, they have no similarity to him in every single aspect. Weird, isn't it?
