2 WEEKS LATER.........

"BLEEP, BLEEP, BLEEP!" I wake at 4:00am on the day my life will change forever. The taxi for the airport is coming in 2 hours, plenty time, I packed my clothes last night and my bedroom things are being shipped over in 1 week, so they are just in cardboard boxes. I am a morning person, so it isn't that difficult for me to get up. I go into the bathroom and have a shower to brighten me up a bit, and then dry my body and hair, brush my teeth, and go and get the one lot of clothes which I left out of the suitcase. It is just my favourite Hollister tshirt, my denim shorts, my Chinese kimono, and my suede slip on shoes which I adore. I tie my hair back into a simple plait before then applying mascara and a tiny bit of Chapstick to my lips before putting them into a plastic bag ready for the plane.

I now have 1 hour.

I text my only friend who is still there for me:

Hi Cas, gonna miss you, hopefully will meet up after a couple of months!

Em x

I press send and put my phone down.

Before I know it the taxi has pulled up outside, and my mum is locking the door of the house which has been my home forever.

"goodbye house" Hayden says and pretends to wipe a fake year from his eye. I laugh.

"Has everyone got everything?!" my dad asked for the 101st time.

"Yes". We replied in Unison.

As soon as my mum got in the taxi, we were off.

When we get to the airport we stand in the line to give our luggage in.

"I can't believe this is really happening!" My mum says with delight, I hug her. I do love my mum. We finally get to drop our luggage off, and go to the nightmare part of the journey, the security check. I put my hand luggage onto the tray, along with my plastic bag, then I take my jacket off and my watch. I then walk through the xray machine. It buzzes red. NOOOO!!!! I say to myself, why me? A woman comes up to me before feeling me up, and then let's me go. God I hate how they do that. We then go through to the shops. Hayden and I go to the technology shops for some earplugs, as we packed them in our suitcases.

"You excited hay?" I asked him,

"A bit I suppose, hot chics, hot weather, hot tan for me! What about you Em?"

"Freedom." I reply.

We then go back to my mum and dad, then go to board out flight which was recently called.

"Boarding ticket please!" the flight attendant asked for the millionth time. I pass it to her. "Thank you!" she cheerfully replys. I then go to take my seat next to the window, I watch Hayden sit next to me, then my mum, and then my dad sits in the middle of the aisle on the seats on the other side.

Long flight ahead, but totally worth it!
