She holds the rose gently

As she finds him in the crowd

She spots him as another

Dainty as a cloud

Although she loves him greatly

He pledges his love to a different girl

She looks at the rose

And the petals are dropping off

One by one

Till they all lay on the ground

She holds an empty stem

She throws it in his direction

And though I know not how

It pierces through his heart

He has broken her

Now she has broken him

She rises from the blood and pain

    She rises full of spite

For she is only jealousy

Who struck another tonight
