A knock startled Peter as he tied up his converse. He adjusted his shirt and brushed his hair out of his face, he knew it would be Miss Jones.

"Oh Peter... from what you wore yesterday, I brought you these," Miss Jones handed him a stack of clothes that looked like a suit and a tie.

"Umm... thanks?" Peter didn't know if that was a compliment or if he should be offended. He also noticed that she wasn't the only woman at the door. A woman who had the same frizzy hair like the rest of the Jones's but shorter we standing next to Miss Jones.

She pushed past Peter leaving him alone with the other woman.

"I don't think we've met," she said sounding a little over excited. She put her hand out for Peter to shake and he shook it nervously hoping she wasn't like Mj's mother.

"I'm Linda, Michelle's Aunt," She introduced, inviting herself into their room. Peter quickly rushed inside and threw the underwear that he left on the bed on the floor. As soon as the red had faded from his face, he heard the arguing coming from the bathroom.

Linda had already helped herself to the bed, sitting on Mj's side of the bed, politely crossing her legs.

"They've always been like this, I'm sure they'll figure something out," Linda assured Peter with a wave of her hand.

The both of them walked back out showing no emotion in their face at all. The only thing that was the makeup that her mother had forced on her because never in a million years would Mj apply mascara and lipstick.

"Ready babe," said Mj surprisingly sweetly, but also in a huff swiping her clutch from the dresser.

"Uh yeah," swallowed Peter feeling weird from just listening to Mj and her mother have a fight.

"Come on, tonight's meant to be fun," beamed Linda following from behind. She obviously just wanted to bring the pair together but hadn't succeeded just yet.

They arrived at what through Peter's eyes, looked to be the fanciest restaurant he had ever seen. Miss Jones thought otherwise because she was walking around if they were at the slums. Mj took a hold of Peter's hand, it surprised him a little because he forgot that they were meant to be dating.

"Ugh this place is so tacky," she scoffed, examining the coloured paper lanterns, tikki torches, palm trees in pots and an overall Hawaiian theme.

"It's the theme of the island mum, it's mean to be like this," Mj already sick of her mothers presence.

"I think it's fun," added Linda, going up to the booking table. Peter was feeling very lucky he hadn't been kicked out yet.

The waiter took them over to their table which was the one next to a huge glass window that out looked onto the sunset beach. Mj was obviously back to her normal self because when she sat down she beckoned him towards her.

"I saved you a seat babe," said Mj devilishly. The look on her mothers face, meant that she had succeeded in making her mother put on a disgusted face. But Peter definitely thought she took it too far when her hand crept up his thigh. He jumped at her touch and she laughed her head off. When the waiter came Kya had already downed three glasses.

"Have we decided on a meal yet?" he asked pen and paper in hand waiting for a reply. Miss Jones and Linda ordered some exotic food Peter couldn't identify.

"Just a burger and chips," ordered Mj politely looking up from her menu afterwards.

"Umm me too," said Peter not knowing what to order, so he went the same as Mj.

"At least order something sophisticated," complained Mj's mum, taking another sip of champagne.

"Leave her be, Alice," Linda groaned trying to calm her down. Peter didn't feel comfortable here. When he had dinner back with Aunt May and his Nan they would all just talk nicely to each other and enjoy the company. Right now the tension could be cut with a knife.
