Sooooo, it's been a while... I kinda feel like I should explain, 'cause I really didn't mean for it to take this long. You see, sometime this spring I got a some comments; a few were corrections of my spelling and grammar, and a few were rather negatively worded, where the writer in question pointed out what they see as flaws or mistakes in the story line itself. In short this made me take a break; the whole writing had become a chore and with this on top, it was time for a break. A few months passed and I got this sweet and understanding comment, asking me to update, but with no pressure at all, and I wanted to, for the first time in months I wanted to. So I sat down in front of the computer, but here you have to understand; my computer is about 16 years old(it used to be my dad's), it's not exactly amazing anymore, so when I sat down to write something was wrong with the computer or the cables or whatever. Point of the matter is, that the screen kept going black and I couldn't see what I was doing. My dad promised to help me fix it and, tho I love my dad and he helps me a lot, he is a slowpoke and so a few months passed. Then August came and I moved out of my mother's apartment and into one of my own; a month after I moved out here, sometime in September, my dad came out and helped me set up the computer, but it didn't wanna work with the WiFi. Probably because it's from before Bluetooth, so we had to use this other thingy which should fix it, but we couldn't figure it out. We tried again this Monday, when he came to help me set up some lamps, and this time we did it, I now have internet. And I'm really sorry about how long it took, but I have it now and I'll try to start updating again, though it'll be irregular and perhaps not too often. I'm sorry about that too, but it's all I can offer right now. So enjoy and be nice, both to me and each other. <3
I had already grown bored a few minutes after we arrived at the meeting, and so I had taken to amuse myself by skating around on the new meeting room's floors in my socks, meaning shoes off, while half humming and half singing the duck song. It was their fault really, I mean, who has this clean, shiny, slippery floors? And if I was making pirouettes, camel spins and layback spins, then it was my deal, not theirs.
The civilian counsel wasn't fans of me being there, but when Otou-sensei threatened to let me booby-trap their houses, they quickly shut their mouths and proceeded with the meeting. It seems my reputation exceeds me.
This pleases me.
I was really having fun to be honest, skating in circles around the table, but of course my idea of fun was going to get on somebody's nerves, in this case it was the Raikage, who blew up on me, after having listened to my 'singing' for the past hour, and screamed for me to stop. Which I responded to with a nonchalant "no".
Then he started anime crying and Otou-sensei apparently felt sorry for him, or perhaps he just wanted him to shut up and return to the meeting at hand, no matter the reason he still asked me softly to stop, which I did, and threw me my sketchbook, when I sat down on the floor, quietly starting to draw the kages in a group picture.
It was a couple of hours later that we were finally allowed to leave. The kages had been going over a ton on sh*t with Otou-sensei and had to dodge a ton of things that the civilian counsel wanted of them, and finally we were allowed to leave. Which was on d*mn time.
Otou-sensei took me to get dango after the meeting and for half a second I thought I saw Deidara at the dango shop, but when I looked again he wasn't there. Oh well. It was probably just some blonde woman. Don't tell Deidara that I said that tho, I'm pretty sure that he wouldn't like to be mistaken for a woman, or in this case the other way around.
It's not my fault that he's a pretty boy...
Anyway, the kages stayed in town for a few more days, before they left. Two weeks later Kabuto, somehow even though he was in a max security prison cell, managed to get word out about me being alive, and so I was send off on a mission out of the village with an Anbu, who was the leader of the mission, and Shikamaru. We were to get some papers of whatever from some hideout or something, I wasn't really sure as it was Danzo, one of the elders, that had send us off and the Anbu hadn't really shared much, I'm not even sure that he can speak.
But Danzo seemed to have caught him up, so everything was fine, right?
