Hello guys! I have like, one reader, but hey you gotta start somewhere right? Hopefully I can go somewhere with this story. Enjoy!
"Hey the name's Bee, daughter of Hephaestus, you must be Mireille right? Nice to meet ya!"
Mireille blinked a few times before realizing the greasy girl in front of her was actually speaking to her. "Oh, uh, yea! That's right! Pleasure to meet you, Bee," She stuttered.
Bee then pulled something out from a lumpy, ashy, bag that she carried. "Say hello to these babies!" She held out mechanical looking shoes, "Made them myself!" Bee grinned.
"Ah, uhm, what are they exactly?" Mireille cocked her head to the side.
"Well I'm glad you asked!" Bee's eyes glimmered with ecstasy, "Made with pure carbon, electronic parts I found scattered, my own sweat and tears, micro neur-" Bee started ranting until she was interrupted.
"My apologies, but can you please just cut to the point. I'd like to embark on our mission," A boy with somewhat messy, but presentable, brunette hair. "Ah, sorry, I should of introduced myself. The name's Santino, son of Athena," Santino pushed up his glasses.
"Son of Athena? No wonder why he acts like his intelligence makes him superior," Bee grumbled to herself. "Ahem, yes, with the wonderful technologies I was granted I was able to create a sort of 'anti-gravity' boots. Meaning you can walk up walls, mountains, etc," She explained.
"That's more like it," Santino nodded solemnly.
"Your comment wasn't really necessary. Honestly you could of let the girl go on about her passions," A dark voice said. A boy with black hair, covering half of his face, stepped out. No one could really notice him because he seemingly blended in well with the shadows.
"Who might you be?" Santino scoffed.
"Zack. Son of Hecate," Zack said dully.
"Great, a Hecate child, the obscurity of it all!" Santino dramatically threw his arms in the air.
Zack scowled as he made a move towards Santino. He was stopped by another voice.
"Guys! Please don't fight! Remember we're a team! We need to work together, not bicker with each other," A softer voice, this time, said.
Zack and Santino stopped their intense glare. They pouted and turned the other way. The girl who spoke had very light red hair. She sighed a sigh of relief. "I'm Marina, by the way. Daughter of Iris," Marina smiled cheerfully.
"I suppose since everyone's introducing themselves, me and Valentina should as well." A girl stepped out. She had black hair that almost hovered above her shoulders. The girl next to her had delicate champagne blonde hair that had been tied up in a bun. "Name's Saskia, from the Nemesis cabin. This here is my friend Valentina, from the Aphrodite cabin," Saskia said, nonchalantly.
"Hey Saskia, check the out!" Valentina grinned, "It's a skirt, BUT it has extra hidden pockets to hide small weapons. Fashionable and deadly," She said proudly.
Saskia turned her face away, and tried to muffle her laughs. "God, you're such a nerd."
Mireille coughed, "Alright then, enough introductions lets-" She was interrupted by a tap on her shoulder. Mireille turned around to find Nikolai sheepishly smiling.
"I, uhm, haven't introduced my self to the group yet. Can you, uh, do it for me?" Nikolai stammered on his words.
Mireille figured that Nikolai was pretty shy around others. That was pretty new to her, probably because her and Nikolai have been friends for so long. "This is Nikolai. He's in the Demeter cabin. Nick's a little shy so cut him some slack," She smiled. "Anyways, as I was saying before, let me show you our prophecy. After that let's begin to pack."
