I stared my twoleg in the eyes, a hint of sadness in my eyes. My twoleg through a bottle at me, yowling and hissing at me, pointing at the door. I rushed out as if my life depended on it, which it most likely did. I ran as far as I could, and remember understanding one word my twoleg said. "Sparky." My name. I want it erased from my mind, for when I remember my name, I remember my horrible twoleg.
I ran until I suddenly tripped over a root, and fell straight into another cat's paws. The cat stared down at me with dismay. "Kittypet," he grumbled. The cat unsheathed his claws and started attacking me! I ran, trying to get back to my twoleg, but then I remembered. I turned around and unsheathed my claws, leaping over the stronger tom. He stared in shock, and forgot about the fight, so I managed to scratch his ear. "Don't underestimate me," I hissed. I trotted away happily, into the crowded twoleg-place.
As soon as I came in, I was greeted by cats with dog teeth in their collars. Well, not really greeted, more or so attacked. I leaped over one of them, and managed to squeeze through most of them. I learned all of these moves from avoiding my twoleg. I managed to slide under the one that seemed to be the leader, raking my claws against his stomach. All the cats stared with shock. I immediately left, making a run for it while I still could. I ran back to the forest.
I later caught a mouse, and a cat approached me, a glint of anger in his eyes. "Drop the mouse," he snarled.
"Or what?" I sneered.
"Or I'll kill you here on the spot. I don't think your twoleg would like that very much, kittypet." He spat.
"Oh, my twoleg you say? Too bad, I left him just this morning. I was already training myself to hunt, and I know dodging moves." I hissed.
The other tom had a hint of surprise in his eyes, but it quickly vanished. "Prove it then, kittypet."
"Fine." I meowed. I slid under the tom, then jumped at he back, scratching against his back on the way forward. I landed elegantly on my paws. "There, think I've proven myself?" I snarled.
"Yes, indeed you have," the tom mewled. "I'm Twigtail, how about you?"
"I'm Sparky, and before you ask, yes, I would like to go live with you." I replied.
We made the quick journey to the camp. Everyone stared in shock as we entered the camp, some murmurs going around, about me and the scratch on his back. A cat came out, with a distressed look on her face when she noticed the scratch on Twigtail's back. "We need to patch that up!" She mewed.
"No, Oaktail, it's fine!" Twigtail responded.
"Twigtail, you know as well as me, you will get an infection!" Oaktail fretted, "And you know not to argue with your medicine cat!" She scolded.
"Fine, I guess you can patch it up before I give Sparky a tour." Twigtail sighed.
"He's a kittypet! He can't be living here!" The murmurs rose among the clan, and a strong, ginger tom came out of a crack in a rock.
"What is going on here?" He boomed.
"Flamestar, I would like you to meet Sparky!" Twigtail meowed.
"A kittypet?" Flamestar snarled.
"He's what caused the scratch on my back!" Twigtail pointed with his tail towards the scratch.
"And you need it patched up and treated before doing anything else!" Oaktail butted in. Me, Oaktail, and Twigtail walked towards Oaktail's den. When we went in, all I could smell were herbs. They were a nice scent, and I enjoyed it. The scent was soothing, something I wished I could be with forever.
