Chapter 13

Batman had dropped me off where the helicopter was being loaded. I activated the stealth mode on my suit and quickly got on the copter, hiding with the cargo.

I love sneaking and hiding in plain sight. It was the closest I could get to being a ninja.

When the copter finally lands, I noticed a group of guys waiting for the helicopter. One was a little more in front, ready to board the copter. I was trying to figure out why most of the guys weren't moving of even aiming there guns. Even the pilots seemed pretty confused as well.

The guy in the hood walks onto the plane and goes to look at the cargo. I quickly hide behind a box, even though I couldn't be seen with my stealth mode on.

"Hey, protocol says I'm only suppose to be on the ground for six minutes." The pilot yells. The guy turns around and aims a gun at them.

"It's okay. I won't be staying that long." He takes the hood off and my eyes widen, seeing the Red Hood standing there. I knew he would know about the changes of plans.

He quickly knocked out the pilots into the other guys, who were all tied up. That explains why they didn't do anything when we landed. Red Hood took off in the copter as I took my stealth off. I felt my new weapon I made Batman hit the helicopter, which holds the copter down and sends a shock through.

"And I almost thought he wouldn't show. New weapon, Night Shock?" He glances back at me, which makes my eyes widen. He looks out at the window at Batman and Nightwing.

"You're not going to win this, hoodie."

"You wanna dance? Let's dance." He has the copter go over the side of the building. My eyes widen as I couldn't find something to grab onto, nearly falling out the side of the copter.

Something grabbed my wrist and made me look up. Red Hood quickly pulled me up, wrapped his arm around my waist, and he jumps out of the helicopter onto the roof of a building. My eyes widen and I look up at Red Hood.

"You saved me?" I ask, really confused. He chuckles and pulls me closer.

"I have my reasons, cutie." He then throws me down on the ground and takes off. "Nice night for a run."

"Ass hat!" I yell as I quickly get up and chase after him. He jumps across the way, landing on some scaffolding. I quickly follow and make a lot more graceful of a landing then Red Hood did.

Batman and Nightwing land behind me and we take off on the chase. This guy was good, it was obvious he had been trained by someone good. Batman threw a batarang at him but he ducked inside the construction area. I quickly follow, staying pretty caught up to this guy.

He quickly grabs a canister and jumps off a landing. He throws the canister and aims his gun at it. I quickly jump out the window before the bullet hit the canister. The explosion sending me faster toward the roof.

I land on my feet and quickly run after him. He glances back at me and I could almost sense the smirk coming from him. He starts jumping railing from railing, and I kept up with him. Just as I was about to grab him, he then jumped off them landing on a roof.

"Damn!" I jump, quickly flipping so I can keep chasing him. I quickly glance behind me, making sure Batman and Nightwing were still behind us, which they had almost caught up with me.

He then jumps onto a blimp and starts shooting. Batman and Nightwing hid behind the corner as I quickly jump onto it and run toward him. I jump and try to kick him in the head, which he dodges. He goes to punch me and I block it then aim for his stomach. He ducks and does a leg sweep, sending me to my back.

"You've gotten better." I look up as he jumps onto the next building. I quickly follow, not wanting to lose this guy. As we chase him, Batman shoots his grappling hook at him, which goes to wrap around his legs. Before it can go tight, he flips and slices the rope. My eyes widen, since not a lot of people can cut Batman's rope.

"He's really good." I growl.

"I'm better." I quickly follow as he jumps into the train station. I quickly follow, landing in the building. I look around, not seeing him anywhere. Batman and Nightwing land behind me,

"Think we lost him?" Nightwing asks. I shake my head. I then hear a beeping and look around. My eyes widen as I see a bomb attached to the pole.

"Move!" Batman yells. I quickly move just as the bomb goes off. It shot me to the side, hitting the ground. When I sit up I see Batman and Nightwing across the way. I then hear a motorcycle and look over, seeing Red Hood on the tracks.

"You haven't lost your touch--" A train goes off that cuts him off. He then takes off. I quickly stand up, click my heels, and fly after him on my hoverboard.

I watch him look back at me as he goes faster. I smirk and go faster. This way was a lot easier to stay caught up to him. Soon, we ended up in an abandoned park that Jason and I used to play at when we lived at the orphanage.

I make the hoverboard disappear and look around, trying to find him. Soon I catch movement behind me, I quickly dodge as he goes flying over my head. I smirk at him.

"You're going to have to do better than that." I tell him. He turns back around and goes to punch me.

We went back and forth for a while, both of us taking a few hits here and there. At some point, he grabbed me and held my back against his chest. He then leaned down next to my ear as I struggled.

"You really have gotten better, Victoria." My eyes widen, as I elbow him in the gut and pull away from. I quickly turn around and face him.

"How do you know my name?" I ask. He chuckles as he walks closer to me. He reaches out and sets his hand on my cheek.

"Did you already forget about me, Tori?" My eyes widen even more. He pulls me closer to him and I could hear the smirk in his voice. "Everything will make sense soon, Tori. See you soon." He twirls me. I quickly turn back around but he was gone, leaving me confused. How did he know my name? How did he know Jason's nickname for me? Who is this guy?
