--Kallias--
After spending the day together Elias dropped me off at home around the time I usually get there. I walked into the kitchen and saw my mom making dinner "Hi mom" I said quietly, one of my rules is to always greet them when I get home as a sign of respect. "Hello worthless omega I gave birth to" she responded coldly. I looked down and muttered a "sorry" before heading to my closet of a room.
I flopped down onto the mattress and closed my eyes, I wish Lucas was here, but his mate was in another pack and he left to be with her, he still comes back sometimes to visit like the other day when he took me to school, but it's usually only once a month.
Lucas is my older brother and the only person in my family who I could really talk to, sure I had Maria but she was too young to be of much help.
Ever since we found out I was an omega my parents hated me, my dad thinks I'm a disappointment and my mom thinks I'm worthless.

It's not like I chose to be an omega so why hate me? The moon goddess is the one who created me this way, of course my parents would never think bad about the moon goddess and will continue to blame for being an omega, but if Elias does choose to mate me wouldn't I become a Luna? I looked out my window and watched the current Luna playing with the pack pups, maybe my parents will finally love me if I become Luna. I smiled softly to myself and nodded, I'll try seeing what things the Luna does so that way I could be a good Luna too! I nodded to myself and quietly left my room and proceeded to head down the stairs.

I looked around to see my mom still working on dinner and quickly left before she noticed me, I then headed over to the outdoor daycare center and watched the Luna teaching the pups their ABC's.

"Kalli!" A familiar cute voice called out, Maria ran over to me and hugged my leg "Omega? What are you doing here" the Luna asked as she walked over, I Blushed and rubbed Maria's head "I was wondering if I could help out with the pups Luna" I mumbled shyly. "Why of course! You'll need the practice for when you have your own pups, and please just call me Jess" I smiled, I had never really talked to the Luna before but I heard that she was really friendly, which I am seeing as true.

I entered the small gated area where the younger pups stayed "These little guys have just shifted for the first time, do you think you could shift and help them practice walking around?" She asked sweetly and I nodded happily. She smiled and returned to the area where Maria was playing with other pups her age, I quickly shifted and looked at the three wolf pups in front of me, their fur was a pretty amber color. 'I'm Amber!' one of the pups said wagging her tail, she had green eyes and some dark brown patches on her, 'I'm Alex!' the second pup greeted, he had blue eyes and white patches on his face and tail 'I'm Aiden' the smallest one greeted, he had gray eyes and white paws. 'Im Kallias' I stood still as the slowly stumbled forward to sniff me to try and remember my smell. I pushed the gate open so we could have more room and placed a toy outside the gated area 'Try to walk towards the toy' I instructed, Alex was the first to move as he slowly and wobbly trotted towards the toy, Amber followed behind him slowly while Aiden was having difficulty staying standing long enough, I crouched down and helped him stand by lifting him with my snout, he took a few steps before plopping down again. I looked up to see Alex chewing on the toy while Amber sat a few inches away.
'Well at least one of them can make it that far' I thought to myself.

One hour later

I yipped and ran faster as the three pups chased after me, 'Kallias give us the toy!' Aiden whined, 'You have to catch me first' I responded. I felt a small body jump onto my back and I fell down, pretending that they knocked me down 'Got ya!' Amber barked excitedly and took the toy from me, the sound of voices coming closer caught my attention and I looked up to see my dad, the alpha, Elias, Silas, Jackson, and another pack warrior walking over. The three pups jumped up and ran to the warrior, who I am assuming is their father. "Luna, I hope my son wasn't bothering you" my dad said shooting a glare toward me, making me cower in fear. "Why of course not, he helped teach the triplets how to move around in their wolf form, and how to tackle an enemy apparently" she responded with a small laugh. I looked up at Elias and saw a gleam of pride in his eyes which made my heart full with joy. "Well I guess that's good then, come along Kallias it's dinner time" my dad said in a warm voice making it seem like he cared about me, but I knew better.

I nodded slowly and trotted behind him to pick up Maria from the pen and then we headed "home" it was more of a jail cell to me than anything else.
We entered the house and Maria instantly trotted up to her room to shift "Shift boy" my dad commanded, tossing me a pair of sweat pants. I quickly shifted and tugged them on knowing he'd be even more mad if I took too long.
Once I was done he slapped me so hard I fell to the ground, letting out a slight yelp as I hit the floor "Instead of wandering around playing with pups you should be doing your chores you lazy little shit" and with that he left for the kitchen. I stood up slowly and went upstairs to my room.

I sat by the window and cried quietly, wishing I could just be anywhere else but here. My "family" was downstairs eating dinner together and here I was crying in my room as my cheek slowly started to swell up. What a wonderful life.

--Elias--
I watched Kallias leave with his dad, a bad feeling sitting in the pit of my stomach. "So son have you found your mate yet?" My father asked. I gulped and nodded knowing I couldn't lie to him, the man can see through me like I'm transparent. "great! Who is the lucky lady?" He asked with a proud smile "Well actually my mate is a guy..." I mumbled nervously. "What do you mean your mate is a guy, there must have been a mistake. A male can't give you an heir" his smile was slowly slipping "You must reject this mistake at once" he commanded "But he's my mate!" I replied shocked that my father would say such a thing. "That thing is not your mate nor would he ever be capable of being a Luna" and with that he walked off.

Letting out a frustrated sigh I walked off towards to woods to clear my head, I slowly made my way to the pond where there was a family of ducks swimming across the water. I smiled and sat on the log and just watched them swimming around not a care in the world. I thought my dad would've known my mate would be a guy considering I came out as gay, but of course he thought it was just a phase. Who cares if Kallias can't give me an heir, he's my mate I'm supposed to love and cherish him- which I do, even if we've only been in each other's lives for a short while.
I couldn't wait to see him tomorrow so I could hug him, I desperately needed to hold him and show him how much I love him. I can't let my dad find out about him before I take the alpha oath, once I officially become Alpha then I won't have to worry about my dad banishing my mate.
I just hope to moon goddess is in my favor and not against me.
