Chapter 2

My heart is pounding out of my chest, it feels like my stomach is about to climb out of my body when I saw him. I dont understand why I feel so weird when Im around him, I barley know the guy, but hes so pretty, okay now I just sound like a six-year-old girl that has a crush on One Direction, now a fence. I am going to try to not drool over him the whole time when I see him, at least I have Zain to help me with that situation. Zain would do anything I tell him to do, not in a harsh kind of way like in the kind of way that Zain kind of has a crush on me every time I see him, so he does everything I tell him to do.

"Hey Alice."

My eyes go big and a freeze. Um, hey Ray. Why did I just hesitate to say hello to Ray, its just a hey really Alice why just why? "Wheres Ben?" Not hey how are you? Or can I take the towels and boogie boards, just wheres Ben.

"Hes coming."

I look away and roll my eyes, I wonder when Zain is coming so that he can be my wing man and see if Ray likes me or not.

"Hey."

Zain is very awkward when he says hey. "Hey Zain, hey Markus. Hello mister and misses Stewart". Thats Markus and Zains parents, Carly Stewart and Ethan Stewart. "Hello Alice, where is you're brother?" Again with where my brother is. Ben and Ray is swimming. I smile and ask Zain to come swim with me. While we are walking, very slowly, to the water I have a little chat with him. You have to find out if Ray likes me or not. He gives a little chuckle.

You like him dont you?

I punch his shoulder and roll my eyes.

No I dont, why would you think that I O hello Ray. Thank goodness I didnt finish that sentence.

Hey Alice. Sup Zain.

At least I got a hey and not a sup. Zain looks at me and wiggle his eye brow, I just roll my eyes and and smile at Ray.

"Sup Ray."

Zain said it like he is about to go on a love mission to help me find out if Ray likes me or not. After a long pause we went deeper into the sea.

"So I heard that our parents sordof knew each other for a few years."

I had to say something there was to much of an awkward silence.

"Yeah. It's weird that I've never seen you in church before though."

Well at least he responded to my question rather than nodding and smiling at me like I'm a creep or something, which I'm not by the way.

"Yeah it is kind of weird."

I can't believe I have never saw him in church before, but anyway, I need to get to know him so that I can find out if he likes me or not.

"So, Ray, you're grade nine right?"

I did actually now that, but I just want to make sure if he is.

"Yeah. You're grade eight right?"

I paused for a bit.

"Yeah. I am."

This is the weirdest conversation ever.

"Okay, but how have I not seen you at my school before, or are you in another school."

It sucks that I'm not in a school we do home-schooling, I'm not sure why though, but anyway.

"Um, we do home-schooling. So, that's probally why you haven't seen me there before."

I can see that his facial expresions is sad.

"That sucks."

Aaa. That's so cute, hey maybe he likes me. We went into the sea with the boogie boards. It actually went better this time, because we spoke a lot more it wasn't that awkward like it was before.

"Hey, so do you guys want to go the pool?"

Me, Ray, Ben, Zain, Markus and Conner. O, by the way Conner is the boy that live in the lodge where our house is, we've knew him for four years. We went to the pool and I kept asking Zain to ask Ray if he likes me or not. He told me Ray wants to ask me something alone in the pool if everyone eats. Al the moms and dads was at least down at the beach so it was just us kids. I jumped in the pool and felt butterflies in my stomach, because I think I know what he is about to ask me.

"Hey, Alice? Can I ask you something?"

Here it comes!

"Yeah sure."

He smiled at me and asked.

"You are a very special girl and I really like you, so, would you concider being my girlfriend."

Fireworks and butterflies in the air.

"I would love to be you're girlfriend."

He staired into my eyes and said the stupeddest thing a boy could ever say to his new girlfriend.

"You know you look a lot like my ex girlfriend."

What did he just say!? I'm glad I was in a good mood or else a would've punched him in the face right there and then.

"O, okay."

Stay calm Alice.

"But you're much prettier, and nicer."

I smile and nod looking deeply into his eyes. I really wanted to tell him that you should never tell you're new girlfriend she looks like his ex, but I think it's a better idea if I don't.
