Chapter 2

Kendall's POV:

"Taylor Derek Johnson" I heard my mom say as she came threw the door with him. She threw her bag onto the couch and marched in angry.

"What mom ?" He said with attitude and turned to her.

"Taylor. Why would you hurt an innocent boy like that ?" She yelled, he scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"Innocent ? That boy hurt Kendall." Taylor yelled back. She looked over at me.

"Did he really ?" I looked at Taylor who's cheek was a little red from when Justin slapped him. I sighed and nodded.

"I wanna see. Where ?" She demanded. I showed her my bandaged right arm.

"Oh well thats a different story if you beat him up for your sister" she calmed down.

"Yeah. Well he won't be hurting her or messing with me any more" he cracked his knuckles and plopped on the couch. She grabbed her bag and went upstairs.

"So did you get into trouble ?" I asked Taylor and he turned around, shook his head no and laughed.

"Nope. Justin started it and I kinda tricked them and used my charm" he laughed and flexed and kissed his arm. Yup thats my brother for ya.

*car honk*

"Hey mom I'm going out." I said and she quickly stopped me.

"Wait where are you going ?" She said and threw some vegetables into the pot.

"On a date. With Jason" I said and she gave me the 'ohhh Jason' kinda of look.

"Oh okay. Well have fun and stay safe." She said and I nodded and ran out to see Jason in his truck.

I hopped in and looked at him and he smiled at me. I smiled back and then he started driving.

"To the ice cream shop we go" he said and I chuckled.

We finally arrived to the ice cream shop at the beach. We went and got ice cream and went back to his truck and sat in the back and faced the water.

"Hey Jason" I said and turned to him and I watched him lick his ice cream.

"Yeah ?" He chuckled and turned to me. He looked so cute with ice cream on his nose and lips.

"You got something" I said and took a napkin and wiped his face. He laughed and thanked me.

"Anyways what were you saying ?" He said and smiled.

"Um. How can I put it in a non awkward way. Promise you won't feel all awkward after I tell you this ?" I said and he nodded.

"iLoveYou" I said quickly and he looked at me confused.

"What ? Say it slower" he said and chuckled and I laughed too.

"I still love you." I said and licked my ice cream.

"You uh got something right there" he said pointing at my lips. He totally dodged my comment.

"No no let me get that" he said and went in and kissed my lips and after the kiss I smiled.

"I still love you too Kendall. I didn't want to break up with you at all." He said and finished his ice cream.

"You know. I missed you a lot too Jason. I spent nights and nights crying and wanting you to be next to me telling me you loved me and that everything will be alright as long as I'm in your arms" I said and he smiled at me and he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close to him and he kissed my cheek.

"I miss this. I miss us" he said looking down at me.

"I do too. A lot" I said and looked up at him.

*phone ringing.*

"Hey mom ... Uh yeah ... Okay ... I love you bye" I said and he looked at me while I was on the phone.

"Hey I need to get going. My mom thinks I won't get enough sleep since its like 11:00. Dumb because I don't even think its that late" I said and he chuckled and helped me down off the back of the truck.

The ride home he held my hand while he was driving and I just love the feeling of him being around again.

I finally arrived at my house and Jason stepped out of his truck and walked me up the driveway.

"So I'll see you tomorrow." He said and took one of my hands.

"Yeah. See you tomorrow Lockdale" I said and he chuckled and kissed me.

"Hey Mrs. Huntington." Jason said and my mom turned around and saw it was Jason. She ran to the door and hugged him.

"Hi honey how have you been ?" My mom said with a smile still on her face.

"Great great. Sorry for keeping her out a little late. I wasn't keeping track of time. It won't happen again." He said and she shook her head and smiled.

"Its okay. You two are safe and had fun and thats all that matters." She said and chuckled.

"Well I gotta get going. See ya" he said waving at my mom and me. We went inside and I went over and grabbed and apple and my mom just smiled at me. I ran upstairs and went to my room.
