Author's POV:

Car ride back to her apartment was filled with little giggles and chuckles as jackson was busy telling her about his stupid and naughty childhood memories while melissah was admiring the man sitting beside her still holding her hand gently.they reached  her apartment and jackson was still not ready to let her go but melissah forced him to go.

"Bye bye .. text me when u get home" melissah waved at him and turned to her apartment.

"Goodnight" jackson waved.he noticed a man in his formal suit standing infront of melissah's house.he watched from a far that melissah talked to him for a while then she went inside.

He got curious but shrugged it off.

Melissah entered her bedroom and changed to her night suit when her phone rang showing jackson's name.she smiled and picked up the call.

"Wow u reached there quite early" melissah said.

"I am still in the road"

"Ohh .. I thought u reached ur home"

"I was getting bore on the way so I thought .." jackson said

"Hmm"

"were you going for sleep?"

"No I was thinking about reading a book"melissah said while putting the book down on the table.

"You really like reading yeah?" He chuckled.

"Yes .. umm are u still on the way?"

"No I just reached .. now going for my room .. I guess mom dad are already asleep"jackson wispered.

"Yeah its quite late" melissah hummed.

Jackson climbed up the stairs to his room.

"Wait lemme change into my night suit" jackson pulled the phone away from his ear and went into bathroom.after changing his clothes he lied on the bed and grabbed his phone.

"Hellow .. u there?" Jackson said hoping melissah didn't fall asleep waiting for him.

"Yeah" melissah hummed but her eyes were getting heavy.

"Sorry it took me a while"

"Its okay" melissah wispered.

Both of them continued to talk about random things untill it was 2am in the morning and jackson realised he's been talking alone for quite a while.he called for her name but she didn't responded indicating that she fell asleep.jackson focused on the sweet snoring sound that was coming from his sleeping beauty and chuckled.his heart fluttered.he plugged in his hands-free and slept listening to his new fav music.

Melissah woke up from her deep and peaceful sleep.she stretched her arms while yawning when her eyes fell on her cell phone.she noticed their call was still connected.

She felt embarrassed that she slept while talking.she disconnected the call and went for her morning routine.

On the other hand jackson woke up at 11am.its their days off after exams so it was normal for him to wake up late.he checked his phone expecting a morning text from someone special but to his disappointment there wasn't any.

Jackson: good morning ❤

Melissah: its almost noon jackson 😓

Jackson: oh sorry 😅 good afternoon ❤😍

Melissah:  looks like u woke up late.

Jackson: yeah actually last night I couldn't get to sleep properly coz of someone's loud snoring 🙉 😏

Melissah: yahh! You should have disconnected the call 😣😷

Jackson: I couldn't ..

Melissah: why?

Jackson: because .. I .. didnt wanted to 😁

Melissah: 😑

Jackson: your snoring sounds like a music to my ears ❤

Melissah: ...

Jackson: lemme eat my breakfast .. then I will come over.

Melissah: no .. I .. m busy today.

Jackson: trying to run away ?.. well 😏  try me ..

Melissah: no .. I have my job jackson ..

Jackson: your shift starts at 4pm and right now its 11:30 ..

*face palm*

Melissah: oh yeah ..

Jackson ate his breakfast and after spending a quality time with his mom he went to melissah's apartment.

"Hah .. so where should we go?" Jackson asked.

"You never told me we were going somewhere"melissah prepared the coffee for both of them.

"Well .. now I did .. how about amusement park?"jackson suggested while grabbing his coffee.

"I dont feel like going anywhere" melissah sat across him noticing his sad expressions."but if you want to .. then m okay" she smiled

"You dont need to force yourself.if you dont want to go there .. then we won't"

"Tbh .. I dont feel comfortable in a crowded place .. thats why"melissah looked down.

"Its okay .. we aren't going there .. relax" jackson smiled.

"How about strolling down the snowy streets?" Melissah asked and jackson's face lit up hearing that.

"And eating ice cream while holding hands" he said excitingly.

Melissah blushed and looked away "sure".

Melissah's POV:

We were strolling down the street.everything was covered with pure white snow.it looked beautiful.winter was always my favorite.but this time it looked even more captivating.maybe because I wasn't alone.

Having someone's support or being alone .. really changes your perspectives about things.your outlook towards things becomes more wider more diverse.

Sorry for writing a useless chapter .. m not being myself these days .. my mind is completely blank and I dont even know whats wrong with me .. forgive me plz .. I will try my best to make next chapter worth reading .. thank you for supporting me .. ❤
