Melissah's POV:

I returned to my apartment safely all thankx to jackson.I changed my outfit and took my sleeping pills.night time was always my favourite after that incident I feel safe at night.I feel like I am with my parents.I can feel their presence which I miss the whole day.I lied in my bed turned off the lights and closed my eyes.

*Messag beep*

I ignored it.

"Whose so desperate?" I wondered to myself.I grabbed my phone and checked the messages.it was from the group that jian yao created few days ago.

Jackson: hey jian yao hows your grandma feeling now?

Jian yao: she is much better now.

Yoon wo: its such a relief.

Jian yao: sorry guys I had to rush home.

Jackson: dont be sorry we understand.

Yoon wo: its okay jenny.

Jian yao: jenny?

Jackson: jenny?

Yoon wo: yeah jian yao is so boring name so I gave you a nickname ;)

Jian yao: yah how dare you say that about my name.are you making fun of me?

Yoon wo: no dear I am being realistic.

Jackson: calm down you troublemakers its almost 12.

I turned my cell phone silent because I knew they wouldn't stop so easily and I dont want to ruin this perfect moment with my parents after a long tiring day.after a few minutes I was drifted to a deep slumber where my mother embraced me in a warm cozy hug.

Sunday morning:

I woke up at 11 am as it was sunday so I was relaxed.I ate my breakfast or you can say lunch.

*messag beep*

Jian yao: melissah would you like to hang out with us to the shopping mall?.

I dont understand why do they even bother to ask me when they already know my answer.I didn't replied her and continued to watch TV.

Jackson: yah !! Why dont you answer?

Jackson: u there.?

I am so done with them I don't know why I even shared my number.can they stop..?

Melissah: sorry I will prefer staying at home you guys can go.

Jackson: why so boring?

Melissah: can you please stop?

Jackson: alright dont be mad.

I sighed."they are so extra" I thought to muself."or maybe I am the one who is weird actually" I wondered."yeah its me who is an introvert" I concluded.its not their fault after all they are just trying to make a strong bond with me and here I am always pushing them away.

But what is the need of bonding?they have their parents their family.why do they act so nice to me?only blood relations are the actual relations.no other relation matters.when you need them they would eventually disappear so whats the need ifllof making fake relation?.

Author's POV:

Melissah was engrossed in her thoughts when her phone rang."whats wrong with them?" she murmured and picked up the phone but it was an unknown number.

"Hello.whose there?" Melissah spoke.

"Hello can I speak to Miss Melissah Shawn?"

"Yes I am speaking"

"I am detective Wang.you probably haven't heard about me but I know alot about you.I am the incharge investigator of BLACK ROSE MISSION" caller spoke.

Melissah couldn't believe her ears.she felt her mouth dried.she couldn't speak.all those haunting memories came rushing into her mind from which she tried her best to run away.

"Are you there?" Caller spoke.

"Yeah I am listening.please continue." Melissah whispered as she lost the energy to speak.

"Actually I need your help to investigate further as you are the only alive victim of that mission.I hope you would want the criminal behind the bars as well so kindly help us with this investigation"

"How can I help you Mr.Wang.it all happened 7 years ago.what is the need of investigation now?." Melissah spoke.

"I know its weird but the one who was handeling this case couldn't find anything so he was forced to close this case but now it is handed to me so I am working according to my own wsy.i want Bae lu yin behind the bars.I assure you I will work hard on this and for this purpose I need your help.so .. r u willing?"

"Sure but I still dont understand how can I help you with this"melissah said.

"I will let you know but first visit me at my office whenever you are free"

"Okay Mr.Wang"

Mr.Wang sent her his office address.

Melissah lied back on her bed thinking about that incident.that incident which changed her life,nobody was there to help her,nobody.she lost everything.her parents were the only precious thing to her but she lost them.she often wondered why didn't she died too? What is the purpose of living like a dead body.she kept on thinking about that and she fell into sleep.

Jackson's POV:

We reached shopping mall in no time,begun roaming around the mall.we weren't here for shopping actually.yoon wo and jian yao were bickering as always and I was acting like their mother , stopping them but they wont ever listen to me.after roaming around for almost 2 hours we went to a nearby food corner to eat something.

"I wonder what melissah is doing right now" jian yao said feeling a bit down.

"She must be laying in her bed and sleeping" yoon wo replied.

"Or may be she is studying for the upcoming test" I spoke.

"Probably,she is a book worm after all." We all laughed a little."She is the purest girl I have ever met.we are blessed that she is our friend" jian yao spoke feeling proud. "But I also want her to hang out with us so she could enjoy her life but she always says no.I have never seen her laughing.she only smiles no matter how funny the joke is" jian yao continued.

"Yeah I noticed that too.her face is always blank and she never laughs" yoon wo joined her.

"Her face is blank but there is something in her eyes that says alot.her eyes expresses her soul in the best way" I thought to myself.

"Maybe its her personality" I spoke.

"Or may be she lost her parents in such a young age thats why it became a part of her personality" yoon wo said.

"I think you are right" jian yao agreed with yoon wo.

We were busy discussing about melissah when food arrived.

"Yummmyyyy" food looked delicious.after eating our lunch we returned to our respective home,and started preparing for our test on monday.
