I forgot what happened after the incident.
I was swept away by a raging river and the roaring winds. The air in my lungs was barely enough to keep me conscious as to not drown.
My skin and bones broken and scraped by the hard stones across the river bank and made it harder for me to surface.
My eyes blurred from the countless of times it was submerged in water.
All I saw was a picture of grey and white. The trees danced around to the rhythm of the wind. The birds flew to find shelter from the heavy rain.
I didn't know how many times I tried to escape the river or how any times that I almost drowned but as I was doing this, I heard voices call out to me but all of it just came out nonsense.
But I did remember one thing.
Someone saved me.........
But it wasn't the people I expected to save me.
-_-_-_-_
My eyes fluttered open from the sounds of thunder coming from outside. I glance around realizing I am still in the same room for six years.
Six years since I lost part of my memory and, six years since he saved me.
I can never tell the story in detail but if I have a choice I wouldn't want to remember it. I would rather forget it but knowing him, he will do anything to help me remember a part of myself.
My head jerk towards where the door is located and my shoulders relaxed when I saw who it is.
"How are you feeling today?" He asks, walking towards me with long gentle strides.
"Much better than last time." I reply.
"Hmmm..." He slowly lift my chin and caressed my cheeks. I could feel my cheeks heat up from the heated touch.
I lean my head on his hand as he gently lay me down.
"You should rest more and save your energy." He says while walking towards the door but before I could ask a question and for him to leave.
He stopped in his tracks and answered my unspoken question before gently closing the door.
I stared at the ceiling for a few minutes contemplating then I close my eyes his words echoing in my mind.
"The time is soon."And with that I entered my dreamless night once again.
