Having our camping trip end with a heat wave, Lavender and I took off and said our goodbyes. We were in the forest of New Orleans camping out for over three days top but was stopped when our parents called in the morning of the heat wave. Having both of our parents take business trips, we ended up home alone most of the time.
"Hey El, you sure you don't want a ride?" I offered. "No thanks Fel. You know how far apart our houses are right? Anyway, I brought my car with me." Lavender replied. "Fine but I'm calling you when I get home, Kay?" Lavender nodded.
I now drive my sedan to the road that leads to the highway. Luckily I brought along my ripped out pants that cuts a few inches above the knee and light blue tank top under my white crop top. Slowly flipping through the channels of the radio, I stopped when I heard static sounds coming from it, signaling that the radio does not have any connections. After trying to flip more through the stations, I immediately shut the radio after hearing a piercing scream. I did not realize I was about to hit either someone or something when I closed my eyes for a moment of shock. I knew I was gonna get hit but I did not hesitate to step on the breaks. Unfortunately, I bumped my head real hard on the steering wheel. I opened my eyes but the vision was blurry. I did not notice that the gas started to leak and the last thing I heard was an explosion before I blacked out.
_-_-_-_-_
I woke up to total darkness. The only thing that made me know I was awake was the constant screaming. I covered my ears trying to block the piercing screech but to no avail. After what seemed like eternity, a flash of bright light appeared along with a creepy melody but I still managed to force myself to open my eyes and uncover my ears. A shiver went down my spine as I see a lady in a white cloak and her hair covering her eyes as she cried softly. Then, the place turned bright white.
*sniffle sniffle*"H-hey.. Can y-you help me....? Pleesh I'm reellee lo-lost." She said slowly walking towards me, her head still down and her posture purely inhuman.
I don't know why this whole accident happened to me. I took a step back with my eyes widen in fear as I see a shadow slowly expanding itself from the girl. Usually I would help anyone even if it's a suspicious looking person but because of that, I get a lot of cases in the past where I usually need someone with me or an alarm system somewhere within reach. As I took a step back, she suddenly lunged at me, seeing her crazed bloodshot eyes. Then my back hit something hard that made me see weird visions. When my vision cleared, it turned to some sort of an imagery, I walked to a portion of the room that was a familiar place. It was the place where El and I said our goodbyes before we parted ways.
I watched as I saw Lavender and I talking and saying our goodbyes. "Hey El, you sure you didn't want a ride?" I offered Lavender. "No thanks Fel. You know how far apart our houses are. Anyway I brought my car with me." She replied back. "Fine but I'm calling you when I get home, Kay?" Lavender just nodded.
The screen then expanded to the entire space of the little room I stayed in and changes to where I was driving towards my house. I remember it clearly now before I woke up in this nightmare.I was looking for a good channel to listen to but then the radio started to act weirdly and there I crashed my car to a nearby tree. But now I saw something that I hadn't seen in the accident. A black silhouette on my rear view mirror looking back at me with those familiar blood shot eyes. The image changes again across the room, now showing Lavender's point of view. I looked at the image of Lavender humming to the beat of music coming from the radio, all seems to be good but as I slowly scan the room once again the girl from before stood in the middle of the room. Her appearance looked normal, deep black hair that reached her shoulders, framing her pale face and slender figure. She still wore a white cloak and her eyes was not crazed and red anymore. Instead, her eyes are dull grey to blue that seemed to pull something out of the back of my head. A recognition.
My lips started to part but before I could say something she slowly talked.
"You..... I thought you were the one who liked children...." She said slowly looking towards me. "Tell me.....did you change.... or..... was it all ..... an act?"
"Wha- what are you talking about?" I stuttered.
"Tell me.....""I really don't-"
"TELL ME!!!!" She screamed her voice booming over the walls. I cringed from the pain and fear.
I looked up only to widen my eyes. My eyes traveled down to where the girl held a dagger.
"....you lied to me" she whispered with her eyes downcast. "You both lied to me." She said more clearly this time.
"Now you're gonna pay." She faced me. Her eyes turned to a void of darkness. Tears of blood slowly dripping down from her cheeks. She lunged at me, drawing her dagger and aiming at my chest. I didn't know what happened to my body as it froze but I felt that my strength is slowly depleting away. Ever since I saw her, I haven't paid much attention to the different images before me. Although I saw a bit of prices here and there.
One showing Lavender having a car accident and the next thing I knew, I saw myself standing in a pool of blood.
My blood.
