I started to work on a new fire pit since the last one got destroyed. Gathering big enough rocks didn't take too long since we still had some from the last pit. Wood took longer, I dragged my axe across the ground leaving a trail to follow back as I looked for a small enough tree. I felt the ground shake under me and a bellow of a brachiosaurus and its child. I ran to the safety behind a tree and looked up at the majestic beasts. The baby looked at me then continued to walk with its mother? Father? I'm not sure, hard to tell. Once they had gone I could still feel the thunderous footsteps until they were completely gone. I grabbed my axe and keep walking dragging it along. Finally I found something, a small tree. Sad i have to cut it down but that's just how it works. I was ready to strike till i saw a already knocked down one. It would be much easier and take less effort. I grabbed it by the upturned roots and dragged it along. Passing where I saw the giant beasts and kept going till I reached home. I told Psycho what I saw. "Wow!" "No fair all I got to see was Pine and a few birds" she crossed her arms and tried to make a serious face before breaking out laughing. I couldn't help it, I laughed too. We got back to work after catching our breaths. I started to chop the wood while Psycho went back to plucking feathers and skinning. I started to chop up the wood and tossed into the pit and sparked a fire with the blade of my axe and a rock. "Psy!" "The fire is ready!" I called out. "So is the dinosaur" Psycho came over with the Microraptor a stick through it. I took it from her and sat down by the fire and spun it slowly to cook it perfectly.
