Why are Fridays so important?

I mean...is it because for most people there is no school or work on Saturday?

Then shouldn't the important day be Saturday?

If confuses me.

It's not raining anymore.

Today feels fresh.

When it rains, the air always feels refreshing afterwards.

I guess this is the last day I'll see him this week.
Assuming that he doesn't go to the convenience store at the weekend because...well it's the weekend.

I have a flower for everyday of this week in my pocket.

Not really paying much attention to what they look like or what flower was for what day.

I'll just hold them all at once and look into my mirror when ready to relive this week.

I'll be more prepared this time.

I'll do things right and not be stalker-y.

People always move slower on Fridays.

Things are most hectic on Mondays and by Friday everyone has eased and ready for the weekend.

I know I am.

Classes are getting too long.

Or maybe that's because all I think about is seeing him the next day.

When I relive this week, I'll talk to him.

I'll build up the courage.

But for now-

I'm happy with watching him form afar.

Well I would be if he was here...

What's the time?

He's usually sitting in his stall by now.

There's no pen, no paper, no black bag and no him.

Does he not come here on Fridays?

I'll wait away from the crowd for a few more minutes.

Huh.

My sigh let out the huge breath I was holding in.

Maybe he doesn't like Fridays.

I was slightly disappointed.

Time still moved as usual.

Cars passed in the road as I gazed at the empty seat.

People continued to ignore me and slide by as I stood in the way of the path opposite my distant reflection in the shop window.

If I wait here any longer I'll look like an idiot.

I hope he's okay.

Walking back to the route I usually take to school, I took a deep breath in.

I briefly forgot how it felt to walk to school alone.

Fridays aren't so important after all.
