The day was bright.

But I knew from experience that it wouldn't last long.

It was going to rain today so I brought two umbrellas.

I'll just have to say that I always bring one spare for my friend or something, if he asks why.

Maybe this time he won't rush off so quickly before I get to say anything.

Warmth brushed passed me like a friend you don't recognise in the street.

I picked up a flower, a blue flower today.

The day was bright.

Going back in time still felt strange, even though I had practiced many times.

I would sit in my room with Grams and she would talk me through each step needed to do it.

First, you need be touching something from the time you want to go back to.

Second, you need to be able to see your reflection.

And lastly, you need to concentrate and close your eyes.

It still felt strange to me though.

How does someone even figure out that they can travel back in time with such precise steps.

I don't question it. I just listen to Grams.

I don't remember what time I got to the convenience store on the Original Wednesday, so I left earlier than usual this time.

I felt confident as I held my two umbrellas close to me.

I just have to remember not to look too obvious when I give it to him.

The sudden rain had shocked him before and he was quick to get up out of the way.

I hope we still get to talk today.

It was early and the sun still shone the spotlight in his direction as I walked up to the store.

Deja vu is always something I get when I relive a day. Self explanatory really.

But the feeling of it, the feeling of knowing you've been in this exact spot in time before still gives me chills.

Mixed with the fear of ruining Time itself, the feeling still creeps up on me often.

The way people moved through the streets, cars beeped their horns in annoyance, wind rustled in the trees.

Even the smell of the spring breeze was the same.

It's just weird.

Being in this exact spot in time ran shivers down my spine like a waterfall.

You never get used to it.
