"What did you put?" Anxiously, I awaited his answer.

"What about your mum? Does she know about the cuts?" He avoided the question completely.

"You're the only person that knows." As Leo was about to reply, Victoria called us down for breakfast. Leo had to go to the bathroom, so I sat and chatted with Tilly.

"Leondre loves you!" She blurted out, looking away from her pancakes, which I had hardly touched. I could feel my cheeks turn a light shade of red.

Victoria, Leo's mum, smiled as she carried on clearing the kitchen.

"He talks about you so much that it's annoying!" She laughed. I forced a laugh and did so along with her until Leo came back in.

"What are you laughing about?" He questioned, raising his eyebrows.

"Nothing." I say.

"That you love Delilah." She smirked, tilting her head at him.

Leondre's cheeks were also red now.

"That's enough now, Tilly." Victoria scolded her. We continued to eat in silence. Well, Leo and Tilly ate in silence, I just ate a little then moved the rest around the plate a bit.

After breakfast, Victoria called me over to talk to her.

"It's true, what Tilly said." She smiled.

"Did he tell you?" I secretly hoped he had.

"No, not in words, but I know because he acts differently with you."

"How?" I tried to dull the spark of excitement in my eyes.

"He talks about you at least a few times a day, he seems protective over you, he acts happier when he's with you." She confided in me. "What I'm saying is that you make him happy, really. And I thank you for that. When he went through that rough time with all the bullies, you kept him strong."

"I'm, um, happy to hear that." I smiled nervously.

Leo peered around the kitchen door. I hope he didn't hear that conversation.

"You coming upstairs, Del? Charlie will be here soon."

"Sure."

Victoria smiled at me as I walked out the kitchen. "What's up with you two?" Leo questioned after we had gone upstairs and he had closed the door to his room.

"Nothing." I replied.

A smug look appeared on Leo's face briefly. "I know that's a code word for 'me liking Delilah' now."

I blush. Reaching into my bag, I got out a jumper, pulled it over my head and snuggle under it on Leo's bed.

"Well, I think it's an accurate code word." He smiled as he sat down next to me.

"What?" I asked.

"I'll show you."

He leaned in and his lips crashed into mine. He pulled back and looked away.

"Sorry." He looked at me again.

"Why are you sorry? It was a pleasure to share my first kiss with you." This time I made the move and kissed him, only my kiss was calmer. Leo's lips were as soft as I had imagined. As we moved apart I smiled. My first kiss was as perfect as I had imagined; even though I had imagined it with Zac Efron, but then again, I may have set my standards a little too high there.

He grabbed my hands and kissed them both. "You don't know how much I have wanted to do that." He let my hands slip from his, then let his eyes wander from mine down to my wrists.

"I understand if you don't want to show me, but I would like to see your cuts." Leo suddenly asked. His eyes were locked on mine again.

Hesitantly, I pulled up my sleeves and removed my bracelets to reveal my scarred, scratched wrists, looking naked with nothing covering them.

Leo looked at then cluelessly for a minute or two, then looked to me.

"Which ones are the fresh ones?"

I pointed to a row of four cuts that were hardly noticeable. They weren't deep or big and didn't bleed much, but they were still cuts. He traced them with the tip of his finger, as if it would heal them if he did.

Leo moved toward me for a second time. He kissed me on both cheeks, on the tip of my nose and then on the lips. I smiled at his cuteness. "A kiss for all the times I wasn't there."

My heart could have shattered into a million pieces right then. "It's not that you weren't there, it's that I was too weak to ask for help."

"No, you aren't weak. You've been strong for too long." Leo told me.

I almost burst out laughing. "If anything, you were the strong one. You battled with your bullies. I don't even have bullies yet I'm turning to a fucking razor for support."

Leo's bedroom door opened and Charlie stood there.

"You cut yourself?" Charlie dropped his bag by the door and walked over to the bed. I hung my head in shame. I saw Leo mouth something to Charlie, but what it was I didn't know.
