I awoke to my alarm sounding, I groaned and slammed my fist on the clock and the annoying beeping stopped. I stretched as I stood up, I ran my fingers through my tangled hair as I looked over at Ranger. He was curled up in a ball asleep; I got out of bed and walked to the shower. I looked at the time on phone and saw that I had an hour to get ready. I took a ten minute shower and quickly got dressed. I dried my hair and decided to keep it in it's natural wavy state. I finished up my eye make at exactly eight. I quickly gathered up the things I didn't pack and shove then into a box and folded the flaps in a way to where they won't open. I had just finished slipping on my shoes when I heard a knock on the front door. Rangers head shoot up and he took off towards the door barking. I quickly walked towards the door and opened it, keeping Ranger back with my leg.

"Good morning Ms. Ouellet," Phil Coulon said from my door." Are you ready?"

"Ready as I'll ever be," I say.

"Well I have the car parked right in front of your door. Do you need help packing the boxes in the car?"

"Yes sir," I say." You can come in."

Phil eyed Ranger.

"He doesn't bite, I promise," I said as I took Ranger by the collar." Please come in."

I opened the door wider and lead Ranger into my room shutting the door. Phil and I then started to load the boxes into his car. It didn't take long till all of the boxes were packed away. I walked back into my room and looked at Ranger.

" It's time to go," I say.

An hour and a half later Phil pulled up to a big iron gate. And that's all you saw, it was just a gate and all around it was trees.

"Welcome to Mc Donald's, may a take your order?" A mans voice sounded from the microphone.

I looked at Phil confused.

" Stop with the games Mr. Stark, I have the new agent with me," Phil said.

It was quiet for a moment," Is she hot?" The man asked.

I bit my lip and blushed slightly.

"You can find out for yourself Tony. Now open the gate," Phil said slightly annoyed.

It didn't take long till the big iron gate opened, Phil drove the car past it and the gate closed with a loud bang.

"I'm sorry about that Ms. Ouellet," Phil started," Tony Stark is a very interesting character."

"No need to apologizes Mr. Coulson. I will get used to his actions sooner or later."

I looked out and saw through a clearing in the trees a big building that looked to be about fifty or more stories tall. There were a lot of cars parked all around the building. We got closer and I was amazed by how tall the building actually was. Phil parked into a parking space that had, ' Agent Coulson', written on a sign in front of parking space.

"Well here we are," Phil said looking over at me."Don't worry about your things, I will have people take them to your room, along with your dog."

"How long till they get here? I don't want him on here long."

"In a minute or so," Phil said before leaning down and talking into a tiny mic on the collar of his shirt." Please send some agents down to my car to get Agent Ouellet's things out of my car. And send them to her room."

Phil opened his door and stepped out, I looked back at my dog.

"I'll see you in a little bit buddy," I say as I opened my door.

I trailed behind Phil as he opened the door to the building, I saw a receptionist taking calls and then elevators on both sides of her. Phil nodded to the lady and walked to the elevator on the right, he pushed the up button and then we waited till the doors opened.

" Director Fury will see you in the meeting room on the fiftieth floor."

"How many floors are there?" I asked as I watched the numbers on the screen above the elevator go down.

"Fifty-one. The last one is the dorms for the Avengers. And since there was only one room left, and that happened to be on their floor, you will be staying on the fifty first floor."

I nodded and the elevator doors opened, we stepped inside and Phil hit the button that had fifty-one on it.

" I will show you to the meeting room. And don worry, Fury looks like a mean guy but he can be caring at times."

"That's reassuring," I mumble.

The rest of the ride was silent, we slowly got closer to the fiftieth floor and I felt myself get nervous. I don't know why I was getting nervous, after all I was forced into the job, there was no need to feel nervous. I small part off my brain argued with that thought. I wanted to make a good impression, show that I was going to work hard even if I didn't want the job. The ding on the elevator snapped me out of my mind argument, the doors opened and Phil stepped out. I followed and was blown away by the amount of people on this floor. Agents were seated at long desks filled with high tech computers, more were running around with files in hand. The floor had wall to wall windows and hard wood floors. There was a set of wide stairs leading up to a small area sectioned off by railing were a big round table was. I looked over at Phil.

"Right this way," he said.

I followed him as he waved to agents or said hello, soon we were walking up the stairs and turned a corner and was standing in front of a glass door. Inside a man with a eye patch sat looking over some papers inside a folder.

"This is your stop," Phil said." Good luck."

He left me after that. I took a deep breath and turned back to the door, I knocked on the door and watched as the man looked up. When he saw me I stood up and motioned with his hand to come in. I opened the door and walked in.

"Nice to finally meet you Ms. Ouellet. Welcome to S.H.I.E.L.D."
