Epilogue

'Dear Mother,

I know this letter is very long overdue. I want you to know that I'm safe and well. I'm being taken care of by someone who loves me very much.

Life isn't easy; Theo works a tough job and doesn't make much. I'm hoping to get a job soon as well, but I need to learn more Larian first. I've already picked up quite a few phrases ... even Theo was impressed.

Anyway, how are things at home?

Are you and Detective Bromley still together, or has he made an offer of marriage yet? He's a good man, and I believe he will take care of you.

How is Felicity? I'm guessing you probably have someone in mind for her now, but maybe it might be a good idea to give her some time to mature first.

Also ... how is Dale? I hope he's doing better now. I miss him. I hope someday, he finds someone who makes him happy, and helps him get over the things he's been through.

Back to me and Theo ... I'm sure you will want to know that I'm with child right now. One day, I hope to bring this little boy or girl back into Casra to meet you and the rest of the family.

Don't worry about me, Mother. I'm happy. Things haven't been easy, but nothing worth it ever is.
