I woke up at noon because what are mornings right?

I grab my phone to look at any notifications I got over night. And then I see it...Ava texted me . I felt my heart sink to my asshole.

Me and Ava have known each other for one year today. We met at a carnival and are planing on spending our one year of...friendship at the same place.

But I have another plan..

Ava POV

I woke up at 8:30 in the morning so I could get my breakfast and work out.

After all that I decided to text Ethan to remind him of our plans today. We are celebrating our one year of friendship today.

But I have other plans..

Ava: hey don't forget our plans today E also good afternoon.

Ethan:Do you really think I would forget about you?

Ava:idk your Ethan it's hard to tell what you will do.

Ethan:Also why did you say good afternoon when you sent that at 9:43?

Ava:I know you.

-Around 6:30 pm-

"Oh my god remember when you slipped and your water went all over the old lady in front of us" Ethan said laughing

I narrowed my eyes "We don't speak of that" I said trying not to laugh.

"Ava wanna go watch the sunset on the ferris wheel?" He said looking into my eyes. "yes I would love that" I smiled softly.

We get on the ride and are almost at the top. That's when I remember my plan. I reach into my back pocket.

Ethan's POV
Here we go the big moment is finally here as I reach into my back pocket.

At the same time Ava and Ethan grabbed the small boxes from their pockets. "Ava..?" "Ethan..?" Both of them say that the same time.

"sorry you go first" Ethan says kindly. "No you" Ava says. "How about at the same time?.." Ethan says very nervous.

Ava nods.

"2.."

"3.."

"will you be mine ava?"
"Will you be mine E?"

The say at the same time opening their boxes to reveal promise rings with the words 'Forever' engraved onto the front.

They didn't have to say anything but on the inside they we're screaming with joy.
