Me and Emma we're sitting on my bed watching YouTube on my computer.

"Haha James is fucking stupid" Emma said pointing out what James had said previously in the video. "well I'm bored of him" I said clicking out of his video and scrolling through my recommendations.

"Ooooo the twins uploaded a new video" Emma said excited. "Mmhm" I said scrolling past it. "Can we watch it?" She said I looked over at her." You could have just asked in the first place". I said Going back up to the video.

"Well I hinted at it" she mumbled. "no you pointed out the obvious" I said narrowing my eyes and looking at her.

we started watching the video and more than half way through it,Grayson asked Ethan if he has recently had a "Thing" or have been dating someone.

This question had me pulled in,Emma and Ethan have been "Talking" for awhile.I count it as a relationship but because Emma is not 18 yet they haven't become official.

Once I popped out of my thoughts. I heard Ethan's voice say . " I guess that's what you can call it"

I looked at Emma who had a blank face on. "hey what's wrong" I said pausing the video and sliding the computer off our laps so we can both sit up.

"nothing" she said . "look I know you and Ethan aren't official but once you turn 18 you will be" I said trying to cheer her up.

"How do you know?" She said . "Because Ethan has told me,He's waiting for the right time". I said smiling.

She nodded and started laughing at how "Girly" she was acting.

"Anyway,What about you and Grayson?" Emma said winking at me.

"Oh no we aren't getting into this" I said getting up from my bed and try and run away. "oh yes we are" she said following me.

"Come on admit you guys loooovvveee each other" She said in a weird voice.

I just shook my head and continued walking around.

"Come on Amora why every time I try and talk to you about him you walk away or change the subject" she said

I turned around fast and yelled.

"UGH EMMA!! I DON'T KNOW WHAT WE ARE!!!" I scream out of frustration.

Emma just sat there blank face.

"ugh,Look I'm sorry for yelling I just...I don't know" I said sitting down on the ground in my hallway,Emma soon following my moves. "We aren't like you and Ethan,We aren't talking we.After the kiss everything has changed,At least for me, you know me Emma I don't do love I never have I will just get hurt..Like before." I said in one breath.

Emma doesn't  say anything.She just grabs me and puts me on her lap. "I know" she said.

"no,No you don't.At least you know Ethan likes you back". I said feeling like a 5th grader With a crush

"Then ask him if he does" she suggests

"no,Emma I don't want to ruin anything..I'm just gonna try and forget about it."I said.

"He flirts with you all the time and the way he looks at you isn't how anyone else looks at you" she said shaking me.

I got up from her lap

"Emma you know,Love isn't my scene..It never will be"

I walked back into my room,Emma followed and instead of being all sad we talked about her and Ethan,I like seeing Emma talk about someone she really cares about.

I just wish it was as easy for me
