Sungchul x Hyuk

Chapter VII - A new beginning?

The same day..

Sungchul finally finished his drawing. Meanwhile Hyuk kind of noticed that Sungchul doesn't want to tell him something.. - he tries his best to figure it out.

Hyuk: "Sungchul?"

Sungchul: "Hyuk?"

Hyuk: "Is there something.. you might wanna tell me?"

Sungchul: *stands up*"What do you mean?"

Hyuk: " Well, after these years of our friendship, there might be something, right?"

Sungchul: "Uhh, that's not an argument, Hyuk.."

Hyuk: "Look, after these years of staying calm and getting honored and loved by everyone, I totally notice when you have something you want to tell me!*He kind of started to get louder and closer to Sungchul*"

Sungchul: "*sitting;Trying to understand the current situation*Huuugh.."

Hyuk: "*gets even closer* Sungchul-"

Sungchul: "Its just.. there are actually many things but..*dodges his eyes*Its not worth it to talk about it."

Hyuk: "What? Why do you think so?"

Sungchul: "Never mind! Here, take your drawing."

Hyuk took the drawing and looked at it for quiet a while now..

Hyuk: "..Th-thank you, Chul."

After this discussion Sungchul's dad cooked nice korean food and called the two boys

Dad: "Sungchuuul! Hyuk!"

Sungchul: "Yeees! We are coming!"

Hyuk didn't say a word and went to the living room, Sungchul right after him.

Dad: "Alright, here it is*brings the food*,  hope you like it, you two!"

Hyuk: "This really smells good! Thank you!"

Sungchul: "Thank you, dad."

Dad: "You are welcome."

They ate together and truly nobody said a word.

Dad: "..So.., how was school today?", he asked the two

Hyuk&Sungchul: "Great."

Dad: "Good to hear*smiles*."

Hyuk: "Mr.Lee, may I ask you something?"

Dad: "Of course Hyuk."

Hyuk: "You look so happy all the time, how come so?"

Dad: "That's a weird question *starts laughing* well, I just don't have any problems now. Sungchul's mother is about to come out the hospital, so I am actually a little bit scared. To be honest with you, Hyuk, If somebody looks happy, that doesn't automatically mean the person is happy inside, you know? *smiles a bit*"

Hyuk: "Hmm, I see. *smiles at him*"

Sungchul finished eating and brought his things to the kitchen - Hyuk then did the same.

Sungchul was about to go to his room but Hyuk didn't let him go.

Hyuk: "I know, I really do know that you question yourself why I asked your dad about some things. I had to. Just to show you that even though people look happy there's always something they want to tell-"

Sungchul: "-Enough!"

He went to his room.

Dad: "Is everything okay in the kitchen?"

Hyuk: "Yes Mr. Lee!" *whispers;* Man, this is all crab right now.
