Here. Have some Prinxiety.
Also I cannot think of titles for the life of me so I'm just gonna use the title area to state what ship it is. The only time you'll get a title is if the one shot is based on a song.
(I would like to apologise in advance for the line that is in all capitals, bold, italic and underlined. It's cringey as heck)

Virgil's POV

I sighed as I stared blankly at the Nightmare Before Christmas poster in my room. It reminded me of Roman. It wasn't as if he was gone or anything, but he might as well have been. Sure, Logan and Patton saw Roman all the time, but the fanciful side hadn't spoken a word to me for a week. Also, if I walked into a room, he instantly left. I didn't understand why. It was as if he was lying when he said we could be friends. I spent hours pondering if I had done something to upset him. The issue was that I couldn't think of anything. I hadn't criticised him seriously for ages. I hadn't done anything. I wanted to find out why he was avoiding me.

I got up and exited my room and made my way over to Roman's room. He had to be there. It was 3pm so he was probably mid way through a Disney movie marathon or something. I knocked on the door tentatively and waited for a response.

"Give me a second." He called from inside. I released a breath I didn't realise I was holding and allowed my shoulders to relax a little. After a moment, he peeked his head out through a small crack in his door.

"Oh, greetings Virgil. I'm a little busy at the moment. Is there any chance of you returning later? Perhaps this evening?" Roman spoke nonchalantly. I bit my lip and looked down to the floor. The creative prince began to close his door. Without really processing it, I jammed my foot into the door to prevent him from shutting the door in my face.

"Why are you avoiding me?" I asked solemnly. I looked up and met his eyes, which were clouded over with nerves. Something was going on. He was hiding something from me. Based on his reaction, I would wager that it was something big.

"I'm not." Roman lied.

"You're lying! Just tell me the truth!" I yelled in frustration. Roman flinched a little at me yelling and I very nearly apologised. I just wanted some answers though. It was a simple enough request, yet he couldn't fulfil it.

"Virgil, just leave! You're overthinking everything like you always do! I just said I'm not avoiding you! I'm just extremely busy and don't have time to socialise! So could you not make an over dramatic scene out of it!" Roman snapped. Before I could respond to him, he pushed me away from his door and slammed it closed. In anger, I kicked his door and stormed off.

I re-entered my bedroom and flopped down on my bed. Getting mad at him wouldn't solve anything. It just made the situation worse.

"I'm such an idiot..." I mumbled. I pulled my headphones out and put them on. My Chemical Romance started blasting through them and blocked out the world. I didn't have the motivation to do anything properly to today. I wanted to be lazy. So, I drifted into a state of sleep to the sound of Gerard Way's voice.

*——time skip (about two hours later)——*

I awoke to Patton shaking me gently. Lazily, I shoved my headphones off my head and looked towards the fatherly figure with a subtle grin.

"What's up Pat?" I enquired.

"I made some cookies. I thought you might like some." Patton answered joyfully. I perked up at the magic "c" word. Cookie. COOKIES ARE MY FUEL!!!
