1) amy winehouse
listen, i love amy winehouse. my dad loved her too, that's how i got into her when i was like idk really young. i remember the day she passed away really good; i was on vacation in thailand and we heard the news. my dad cried and so did i. no but honestly, amy winehouse is amazing.
2) hayley williams [paramore]
i don't know if it was just about solo artists, but i couldn't think of anyone so yeah. hayley is fucking awesome, she was my first girl crush. she actually made me realize i'm not straight lol. her voice is amazing and her songs are just so catchy and good.
3) avril lavigne
avril lavigne was the first 'alternative' artist i listened to, okay. she was my entire childhood and i mean i still love her even though her style has changed quite a bit.
4) girl in red
i just recently discovered her through her song 'i wanna be your girlfriend'. the song talks about a hannah, and my name is hannah so i was like well that's cool. she's just really amazing and i've been listening to her a lot this past week.
5) adele
hear me out. i don't listen to adele anymore and her latest album (or has she released another album in the meantime?) is not really my style, although i do like some of the songs on there. i loved her first album so much when it first came out, even though i was really young. i basically grew up listening to it since my dad was also a big fan. she was the first person that got me into music (together with amy winehouse) and therefore she just means a lot to me, even though i don't listen to her anymore.
