“This heat is killing me,” Ene says as she wipes the sweat on her forehead. “Last summer is nothing compared to this.”

She is alone in a park, under the shade of a tree, with a cold soda can on her hand. Ene checks her phone and looks for the time. It’s exactly an hour past noon.

“We were supposed to meet thirty minutes ago,” Ene tells herself, really pissed off.

“There you are!” a voice erupts from the distance.

A girl with long brown hair runs towards her, wearing a red scarf and a school uniform. It’s amazing how she can wear the scarf despite the heat.

“Took you long enough,” Ene coldly says to her.

“Sorry,” she replies, “the bus came in a little late.”

“Well whatever,” Ene replies. “Let’s just get out of the blazing heat, Ayano.”

They take off and head towards a public library. No one seems to be there except for a few readers. The air-conditioning provides comfort for those dying in the heat. They find a table and take a seat.

“Let’s get started,” Ayano says as she takes out a notebook and a mechanical pencil.

“Why are you taking notes?” Ene asks.

“I’ll keep this as study material,” she replies.

“But we’re only talking about Shintaro’s interests,” Ene blurts out with a weirded out face.

“I’ll memorize them,” Ayano says with determination.

Fires grow from her eyes. She’s really serious about memorizing them.

“You were with him while I was dead right?” Ayano asks.

“Yeah,” she replies. “Staying in his room for years was absolute hell.”

“I envy you,” Ayano says while averting her gaze from Ene.

“Why?” Ene asks.

“You were basically living with him under the same roof!” Ayano replies. “THAT’S A CRIME! I WON’T ALLOW IT!”

Her voice echoes in the library. The few readers don’t seem to mind Ayano’s raging. After noticing how loud she was, Ayano tries to cover her face with a book.

“If you really want to know Shintaro’s interests, then I’ll tell you,” Ene tells her.

Ayano pops up the lead in her mechanical pencil. She writes down every word that Ene says, even the unimportant ones, with great focus. After an hour, Ene finishes talking.

“You’re amazing!” Ayano tells her. “How did you know all that?”

“Living in his computer gave me access to his browser history,” Ene replies.

“I’ll be going to Shintaro’s place right now,” Ayano tells Ene.

“Already?” she asks.

“Can you call Momo to keep her away from the house?” Ayano begs Ene.

“Fine,” Ene replies. “I’ll see what I can do.”

Ayano leaves Ene and heads outside the library. She makes her way to Shintaro’s house. She reaches the gate and notices that the house is empty. Ayano enters the house by picking the lock. She heads upstairs to Shintaro’s room, hoping to see him there. Nope, the house is completely empty.

“At least I have time to prepare,” Ayano tells herself.

She gathers all sorts of equipment that can be found in the house and takes out her notebook. She begins setting up an environment that would satisfy Shintaro. After an hour, she finishes her work and rests on Shintaro’s bed. She smells his pillow and takes a deep breath.

“It really smells like Shintaro,” Ayano says while blushing.

The house’s front door opens and someone enters the house.

“I’m home,” a male voice says.

“He’s home,” Ayano tells herself.

She gets into position and waits for Shintaro. Like a huntress, she calmly awaits her prey and attacks. The knob turns and the door opens. Shintaro drops his things, surprised with what he’s seeing. Ayano is wearing cat ears with a tail at the back while wearing a swimsuit. She is lying down his bed while facing him, signaling him.

“What are you doing?” Shintaro asks while flustered.

He approaches Ayano and demands for an answer. Ayano quickly grabs his arm and pulls him on to her.

“I’m making you mine,” Ayano says while smiling.

Behind the two on the bed is Shintaro’s computer. Ene is using her eye power to watch them using the web cam. To make it worse, she seems to be broadcasting it to the whole Mekakushi Dan, except for Mary and the two others who are too young to see it.

“So she actually did it,” Ene says in amusement.

“I can’t believe my disappointing brother managed to score one,” Momo says in awe.

“Elder sis is finally getting what she wants,” Seto says while crying.

“Wow, our commander really is dangerous,” Kido adds while staring.

“Shintaro, you lucky bastard,” Kano mutters.

The next day was chaotic. That’s all I have to say.
