All This Stress

Mrs. Rose: I know it hurts sweetie. Just breathe.

I grip the sheet as tears roll down my cheek. She moves my replacement arm and I yell in pain. She sets it in a basket and cleans where it used to be. Pain shot through my body and hold my hand there. Titan comes in and I lay down looking at the wall.

Titan: You okay? I heard you yell.

Me: Can you just leave me alone?

Titan: Lia's here for her visit.

I look at him and sigh. He helps me sit up and stand. I look at him and smile.

Me: Thanks.

Titan: No problem.

He puts my jacket on me and we both go to the visiting room. I see Lia sitting at the table. Some guy was bothering her. No other that Jerry.

Jerry: Come on ma. Give me ya number. I'll be at yo house when I get out.

Lia: I have a boyfriend.

Jerry: He aint here is he?

Me: He is.

Jerry snaps his head at me and gets up. He pushes me floor.

Jerry: You ain't shit without your damn are cuz.

Titan tackles him to the ground and throws punches at him. Lia helps me up and sits me down. Guards pull them about and Titan keeps fighting. They jab a syringe in his neck. He yells in pain then collapses. They drag him away.

Me: It keeps gettiing worse.

Lia: The pain? But you take the shot before right?

Me: Yea. I don't know what's wrong.

Lia: Well your next doctor appointment is in two days. Can you wait that long?

Me: I'll be fine.

She stands and helps me up. I kiss her and she helps me back to my room. Boys whistle down the hall.

Me: Shut it before all of ya don't wake up tomorrow.

They all rush into their rooms. We both laugh.

Lia: Works everytime.

We get to my room and we four times in a row.

Lia: I love you.

Me: Love you too baby.

She leaves. Mrs. Rose comes back with my cleaned arm. I could see my reflection in the metal. I slide it on my arm. It didnt hurt this time. I make a fist and release it.

Me: Thanks Rose.

Mrs. Rose: Your welcome sweetie.

She leaves. I sneak out my room and head to Jerry's room, cracking my knuckles. He's gonna get his.

JACOB:

The doctor walks in with a smile on her face.

Doctor: Looks like the surgery went well Mr. Perez. I needyou to stand to see if you feel pain.

I remove the covers off and get off the bed. She nods and smiles.

Doctor: Thank you. You have three visitors.

Three? Who's third? DJ is away with Cy and Noah. I get back in my bed and Anastasia runs in jumping on my bed.

Ana: Hi daddy.

Me: Hey baby. Guess who birthday it is?

Ana: Mine!!

Me: Wheres mommy?

India comes in looking furious. I let go of Ana and look at Her.

Me: Whats wrong baby?

India: Who the hell is this?

Some girl walks in the room. My eyes widen and she smiles. I get my phone out and call DJ.

DJ: Aye I was about to call you. We got off the plane and we inside the hospital.

Me: Get up here. Now!!!!

India snatched my phone and waited my answer.

Me: This ain't right. It's impossible.

DJ comes in followed by Cyan and Noah. Jacob stops in his tracks.

DJ: What the fuck?! You're dead! H-h-how are you here?!

India: Who the fuck is this Jacob?!

Me: Novah.

The room grows quiet. Cyan looked confused. We all were.

Cyan: You guys said she was dead.

Novah: He killed my sister.

DJ: So you lied Jake?

Me: No. Back then I would black out when I got mad. But I couldve sworn it was you. Everyone thought it was you.

Novah: Well it wasn't.

India: So why this bitch saying you her boyfriend?

Me: I don't know. Me and DJ broke up with her.

She looks at Noah and smiles.

DJ:*pulls Noah away* DONT TOUCH MY SON!!!!

Cyan: I got him. Come on Noah.

Noah: Who's that weird lady Mom?

Cyan: No one baby come on.

Novah: You got my son callin her Mom?!?!

DJ: You were M.I.A so she took your place. You don't even know how to be a mother!!!

Ana: Daddy I wanna go home.

Me: Everyone please leave. I can't deal with the str(gco)

Their voices trailed off. Well that's what it sounded like. My heart was beating fast and my head was spinning. It felt like some one punching my face everytime it took a spin. I feel my body lean and I fall to the floor.

DJ: Jake!

Everyone was talking at the same time. But I only heard on voice.

Ana:*cries* Wake up Daddy!!! Please wake up!!!

Her cries grew louder in my mind. After a little they faded. I'm so sorry baby girl.
