The old lady kept giving them harsh stares until their feet finally cross the exit door of her store. Chocho kept bowing at her, and trying to call her by sweet grandma names, but it felt like this one time it was not going to work.
Chocho paid for the things the boys broke during their out of no where altercation. She looked at her pink wallet, returned it upside down. Emptiness fell out of it. She felt like crying. She was planning to use that money to go to a barbecue since last week. It was the rest of her hard work mission pay.
The two boys silently looked at her. They slightly looked sorry, not for what they did, but to look at her saddened face.
This whole situation seemed ridiculous for both of them.

- I could've bought her entire store if I wanted to. Said Shinki.
- Hey ! You sound just way too arrogant like that Shinki !
- You should have let him pay. At least his presence here would be useful.
In addition of not looking sorry, Mitsuki seemed to still want to throw cutting remarks at Shinki.
- Mitsuki ! She was even more angry at you !
- Hm. I've noticed. She tried to hit me more times than him. I wonder why.
- How's that you wonder why ?! Last time you came here, you tried to kill her !
- Oh. She didn't forget about that ?
- Mitsuki !!
- I'm surprised you know about that.
- I'm close with this grandma, mom and I always come here to buy things ! You guys made me look bad !
She looked like she was about to cry when she said that. Mitsuki didn't insist, he didn't get why this grandma mood was so important anyway. He tried to say something nice :
-Well, at least that time I didn't kill her.
Shinki raised one eye brow.

He happily smiled.

- Of course.
She didn't even finish her question that Mitsuki genuinely nodded up and down for the obvious response. Chocho didn't know what to say. Shinki wasn't looking impressed by what the golden eyed boy just said, however he noted that Mitsuki was really a strange character.
-You know what ? Nevermind.
She sighed.
- Why did you guys fight !? Just tell the truth now !
