The Rejected Savior- A Percy Jackson Story

Chapter 3

"Greetings. I am Percy Jackson, Champion of Chaos and Ex-Son of Poseidon. I come in Lady Chaos's orders. I mean no harm, I am just here to negotiate. With a war with Void coming up, we should all have allies, should we not?" 

"Of course. But why do you think I would team up with you instead of with Void?" "Simple. I will go on a quest for you if that's what you need to join Chaos's charade." "Okay then. My only command is for you to get Apollo's blessing. Once this happens, I will enhance your light power, so that you can weld a Sun Silver blade. That blade will be able to destroy all creatures engulfed in darkness."

"Deal." I appear in an alleyway. These gods know how to teleport you somewhere. I see a man with armor made of pure light. I recognize that man immediately.

"So, Apollo. To whom do I owe the pleasure," I snarl. I don't want to deal with these Olympians. "Helios wants me to give you a blessing. However, I should bring you back to Camp. The Olympians are all looking for you." Great. They are after me. 

"What can I do for you that won't result in you turning me in?" "How about... getting a golden apple from the Garden of the Hesperides."

Apollo snaps his fingers, but nothing happens. "So its true... you're too powerful." I use the vapor in the air to travel to the mountain. I see a dragon, no doubt it is Ladon. I walk up to him and ask him "Can I pick an apple?" He wakes up and glares at me. He's about to lunge at me when I sidestep. This isn't going to be an easy battle.

I run forwards with no weapon drawn. I rush forwards and move around, casing the 100- headed beast to tie its heads into knots. However, I only gt 4 heads tied up in 5 minutes. So this will take me a while.

Two hours later

Finally. I'm dowm to the last few heads. Luckily, I have great stamina, or I would have been defeated. 

I grab an apple. Then I vapor travel back to Apollo, holding the apple.

I show it to him. "You actually got it? Good job. As promised, I will giv you my blessing. You will now be able to tell if someone is telling a lie, but if someone tells you a half truth, you wouldn't know." 

Helios teleports me back to him. "I grant you the blessing of the true sun. You can now control your aquatic fire, and you can weld a Sun Silver sword." 

He brings me over to the forge. He gives me a standard Celestial Bronze sword. What you do is melt down this sword with Crystalline Iridium. Then you reforge in into the shape you desire. Then you let it strengthen into a Sun Silver blade.

I follow his instructions and, sure enough, it works. I name the sword The Morning Star. I also enchant the sword to turn into a leather brace for my left hand. When I clench my fist and turn it, a blade appears in my hand.

Rachel's POV

Seriously? These idiots drive out there strongest warrior, and now they expect him to join them? I'm going to need to get some help if we are serious about this mission.

Luckily, I know some people who will help.

I now Grover and Thalia would help. Piper, Hazel, and Frank all seem like good people. Jason might, but I don't know him. Nico would help, and Thalia can get Reyna to help also. Finally, the Stolls might help, but I don't know. If we can find Leo, though, that would be amazing. 

We just need to make sure Jack*ss and Annab*tch don't figure out.

We also need to tell Sally about this. Chiron to. But, unfortunately, those two power-hungry leaders, Annabeth and Jack, are trying to become gods. 

Law's POV

I can sense something, Lord Void. The Oracle and a few ragtag warriors are trying to get to the forbidden hero. If they make it, then we have lost. 'Excellent. We should destroy their forces, but first, let's destroy what Percy loves the most.
