I was back in Alaska and I was cold as a motherfucker. Yes, I know wolves lived in the snow, but that didn't mean our human form didn't feel cold. Only our fur protected us from the cold frost.
"You should have brought a jacket."Alec scolds breaking me out of my thoughts.
"Well if someone hadn't rushed me out of the house I would have thrown on something more winter friendly," I reply annoyed. I was currently wearing jeans and a House of Stark T-shirt with flip flops.
"If someone hadn't escaped from our pack territory then they wouldn't be dealing with this problem in the first place," Alec growls low. I shrug my shoulders. If I ever gave a fuck about following rules I'd probably shoot myself. The last thing I wanted was to be one of Alecs ass-kissesrs.
My teeth began to chatter from the cold. I hear Alec sigh and take off his jacket. He places it over my shoulders.
"This doesn't mean I'm happy," I tell him still fuming at the thought of returning to the pack.
I hated that place. It was like living in the 1800s where everything was ruled by monarchy. The pack was divided into different groups. The Alpha was of course the highest , Beta was second in command while Gamma and Delta where at the same level. The list went on and each ranked lower than the previous title.
Where did I fall in this hierarchy you may ask? Well I was a fucking omega. The bottom of the bottom, only thing that kept me from being treated as a regular omega was my brother.
Ever since we were small he always protected me from the kappas, Iotas, Zetas and Epsilon, trying to get at me. I mean don't get me wrong, I could protect myself verbally, but once they knew they couldn't out wit me, they turned to physical fights. Which, unfortunately were my weakness. And so Alec would beat the shit out of them.
"Don't play the victim Michelle, your living a better life then most. You should appreciate that." Why did he always have to act like he was much wiser and mature.
"Where the fuck is the car?"I hold the jacket closer to me.
"It's little ways from here calm your ass down," He scolds at my impatience.
Once we find the car, we make our way to our little town hidden in the woods. I wont lie I did miss being surrounded by nature. It was a lot more peaceful compared to the city.
Some of the pack members came to watch me get haled into the Alpha's office.
"Pfft the little princess is back," someone mutters.
"She is so lucky to have Alec," another says.
I ignore the comments of the jealous bitches. Because that's all they were, jealous bitches.
"What a welcome that was," I say sarcastically.
"If you were more humble maybe they'd appreciate you more."
"Yeah and I'll be Luna to an Alpha," Alec chuckles at that.
"I doubt there is a man out there that can tolerate your foul mouth," he muses.
"And I doubt you'll ever get a sophisticated woman to fall for you," I take off his jacket and hand it over to him.
He looks at me with a glint of amusement,"Keep it, I need it washed and in my closet by tonight,"
"is that an order?" I ask glaring at him.
He only smiles, "you know the drill."
I bite my lip to keep myself from growling.
"So you brought me all the way from Arizona to wash your dirty laundry?" I ask incredulously. I mean I could be home right now binge watching some anime and eating chocolate but instead I was here getting bossed around.
"No, I brought you back because this is where you belong by law. Mom and dad were worried sick about you while you were doing god knows what in Arizona,"
"I was studying to get my Associates degree! And why the hell would they worry about me, I'm a grown ass woman, twenty-one to be exact." I huff. Alec stares at me blankly.
"Associates degree? What for? Only idiot humans waste there time with that crap. You are here to be of assistance to the packs wolves and most importantly your Alpha." I look away from Alec because I know I would end up punching him in the face if he kept talking.
See Omegas were used as servants in the pack. If anyone above my rank needed assistance with anything it was up to the Omegas to help out. From small things like looking after the pups to bigger things like helping scout for rouges.
"Yeah,I know. I'm here to be everyone's little bitch," I spat angrily.
Alec's eyes turn a golden color, his wolf coming to the surface.
"Watch how you speak to me," He growls, "You are blood but I will not hesitate to put you in your place,"
I sighed, there was no reason to piss off Alec's wolf. I had known the rules from the moment I could walk.
"Got it," I march out of the pack house before he can say anything else.
