"Wake up and smell the coffee!"

Who the flip is up this early? "It's too early," I say, tossing my pillow towards the disembodied voice. I snuggle deeper into the mattress only to have my blanket torn from my body.

"Oh Dewdrop. I don't give a shit. Your alarm clock has been going off for ten minutes. Wake the Fuck up." I turn my head towards my friend and roommate of seven years. He pouts sticking his lips and puts his hands on his hips. I somehow manage to leave my bed and went inside the bathroom

After relieving myself, I change into some white jeans with a black and white long sleeve shirt. It took awhile, because Dante and Sapphire couldn't decide what to where. I pick up my backpack and leave with Tyler.

Tyler's cool. We were buddies since seventh grade and his always been the brother I never had. He's Italian and died his hair red. He's taller than my frame and probably much more mature. At least on the outside.

Leaving the college dorms, we meet my friend/sister in crime, Kathy. "What's up Dewie?"

Right, my pet name. "Nothing much, KitKat." I say, opening the door for my friends. As I walk in, I get questioning looks from people. My name is the name in every question from their mouths. I sigh. Yes, look at me people. It's not like I'm human or anything. I'm just...different

The day goes by quickly and soon I'm in Psychology class. I want to be a psychologist, but I may have some difficulty. "Does anyone know what the cause of most disorders come from?" asks the professor. I know this question, truly I do, but I don't say a word. In fact, I don't make a sound. I quietly sit and watch the first eight people guess and fail. While the teacher speaks, I feel a hand over my own. I follow it to KitKat's face. It's full of tears, but they don't dare drop.

I know what she means, however, I sit as the class continues.

No one really knows about how it can break you.

No one feels the victims pain.

No one knows how to fix... me.

Sitting by the window at night, I dream of those purple eyes. I really needed a break.

I decide to walk outside and clear my head. Why do people call it clearing your head? All your doing is thinking about not thinking. That really seems more troublesome than before.

Anyways, I walk down the sidewalk at 10 at night waiting to get kidnapped. I know stupid, but I'm really dumb. I concentrate so much, I barely notice I'm in front of a clearing. What the hickory dickery dock feet? I turn around, but I hear a sound. It kind of sound like wind and cats collided. I, hesitantly, turn back around and see a small mouse rushing towards me. It was rather weird. The fur was pure black and it had purple eyes.

I always thought they were rather cute creatures, so when it hopped on my shoe and crawled inside my pocket, I took it home.

Tyler was not amused.

"YOU ASSHOLE!" he shouts, wailing his arms around. Fernando, I named it, couldn't seem to care less as he snuggles into my hair with a satisfied snort.

"Calm down, Tyler. I promise to never leave so late. With a huff, he sat down on his bed and reframed from speaking to me the rest of the night.

As I nestled into bed with Fernando in a sock on my nightstand, I didn't stop thinking of midnight fur. And my dream were filled with lilac skies.
