After Sorey showed shortly after Scarlet met up with Rias and her group, Irina and Xenovia engaged him in battle but sadly lost. After that scarlet managed to pin down sorey but Rias freed him by using an arte, then, sorey summoned out Maotelus who was corrupted by malevolence.
STOMP!
"Whoa!" Scarlet and Ravel yelped while avoiding Laphicet's giant dragon claw
Laphicet starts sweeping the area with his claws, destroying everything in the area.
"Laphicet! Hey Laphicet! it's me Ravel! You need to snap out of it!" Ravel called out
Laphicet looks towards Ravel
"What the hell are you doing!?" Scarlet question in awe
"I can reach laphicet! He's still in there fighting!" Ravel answered
Laphicet steps closer to Ravel.
"Yeah! It's me! Your friend ravel!" Ravel said with joy knowing laphicet would hear her
Laphicet get closer to her before roaring in front of her and whacking her away, causing her to crash into the school.
"Ravel!" Everyone yelled with worry.
"I'm going to check on her, kiba come with me i could use the cover." Akeno said
"What about us?" Issei wondered
"Um... issei, stay with Rias and these three. Koneko, help issei Protect Asia along with rias, Irina and Xenovia. Rossweisse, take Laphicet down." Akeno ordered
"What about scarlet?" Koneko wondered
"She knows what she has to do." Akeno answered
CLANG! CLANG!
"Clearly." Kiba pointed out
They all look where scarlet was and she was fighting sorey. After knowing what they were going to do, they executed it. Meanwhile where scarlet was, she was locked in combat with sorey.
Clang!
"Remember who you once were Sorey! You're not a fallen Shepard! You're a guy who loves ruins! Someone who wanted to make a world where humans and seraphim live together!" Scarlet told sorey
"That side of me is gone! This is all that remains!" Sorey told scarlet
Sorey uses lion's howl and forces Scarlet back. Sorey then ran towards while his sword was sheathed
"Shadow shock!" Sorey said before he jumps backward after getting close to scarlet, then dashes forward with a single, horizontal slash that hits her multiple times.
"Gah!!" Scarlet yelled in pain
"I'm not done yet!" Sorey said while running back towards Scarlet
Once sorey was close enough, he unleashed an arte combination.
"Severing wind! Runic circle!" Sorey said while he spins around, slashing upward while jumping into the air, creating a cyclone of wind that hits scarlet. Once severing wind ended sorey points his sword downwards while a dark circle descends upon her, further damaging her
Scarlet backs away from sorey and unsheathes her gauntlet blade
"Cerberus wave!" Scarlet said while she jumps back as she slashes her ejected gauntlet-blade, conjuring a fiery whirlwind upon sorey.
"Gahh!" Sorey yelled in pain
As scarlet and sorey continued fighting, kiba and Akeno managed to get Ravel who was unconscious after being hit by Laphicet.
