The walk to the dance was silent. Rosa didn't like it, luckily it was only a ten minute walk. "Don't be nervous. I'll be your boner blocker." Olivia says, noticing Monse messing with the zipper of her jacket.
"Or a cockblock." Rosa says, as they follow Ruby to the gate of the school. There was a group of people crowding the door that had a small sign the read 'Dance Canceled' in sloppy handwriting. "What's happening? What is it?" Ruby questions quickly.
"Some bullshit is what it is! They cancelled the dance because of a fight. Man, I mean, really? Two putas got into it in Life Skills yesterday, but we still managed to make souffle. A fight ain't nothin'!" Jasmine says, turning to the group pissed. "It wasn't just that. Some fool pulled out a gun." A girl next to Jasmine says. She was in Rosa, Science class and she wasn't that bad to talk too. Lot of Chisme to be shared that was for sure.
"I swear to god it better not have been one of my idiots." Rosa says, angrily to herself. "Who cares? It took me forever to get ready. I even shaved my chocha for this. And it was a two-man job." Jasmine says, to Ruby smirking suggestively.
"Gross." Rosa says, shaking her head. Suddenly there were arms around her waist, pulling her into a chest. "Hello, Gorgeous. I missed you." Cesar says, with his head buried in her neck.
"I missed you, too." Rosa says smiling brightly, turning to face the boy and kissing him sweetly. "Hands off." Matias says, walking passed the couple.
"Ignore him." Rosa says, with a roll of her eyes. "What happened?" Cesar asks, nodding towards the school.
"Apparently the dance is canceled. And I got a ready for nothing."
"I don't think nothing. I'll appreciate you." Cesar says smirking, then leans into her ear. "All of you."
"You better, I didn't just do this your myself." Rosa says, glaring at the boy playfully. "I think you look beautiful in anything you wear." Cesar whispers, leaning his head on her's.
