Narrator's Pov

It was a good night. With the sky so dark and stars brightly lit, most were under the Sandman's lullaby.

However, his powers doesn't work for everyone as some are bound to have a sleepless night. Especially the Robinsons.

"You mean to tell me that the girl is in a coma?" Hina asked. She touched the window where Izeiah lay peacefully.

If it only weren't for the tubes attached allowing her to continue her stay on Earth.

"Precisely, Ms. Swift. She will not be waking up anytime soon. However, the poison that was present in her blood a couple of weeks ago, has disappeared and was confirmed with multiple tests. So, that's one less thing to worry about."

The lunacy was made of something that could do, not only cursed wonders, but also blessed ones. And one of them just happens to be solving the poison that invaded Izeiah's body. Unfortunately, it also left her body frail and weak. So weak that she will need a couple of weeks to recover.

Hina wiped her tears that seemed to be never ending. They knew that her case wasn't normal.

It was out of the ordinary, truly.

Sometimes, her breathing would stop and it would cause the whole hospital their electricity. The machine that shows her heart's activity would often turn into a straight line, and chaos would soon follow. Most of the time, her heart beating was the only thing that's stopping the hospital from having multiple deaths in one night. Her heart controlled a lot of lives. And it wasn't fun.

The game really gave her true trouble this time. So much that fate is having trouble choosing between her life or death. Both had its own benefits, whether for her or the world.

More than that, news about the last Izeiah's game spread far and wide. It was reported that shortly after her depart, the games stopped and was put on hold. Everyone was released. Many assumed it was because of the deal proposed by the Robinsons and was accepted by the Kenshis.

And it was connected to the long lost demon of the latter, Izeiah Kenshi.

Four Months Later

After falling into a deep slumber, Izeiah finally woke up one afternoon. She was so thin that her skin hugged her bones very intimately. Obviously, because she was only fed through tubes, she lost a considerable amount of weight. It was as if the event sucked her all of her energy that it became impossible for her to get through this lifetime.

Ofcourse, considering that this was a very big accident, the moment they got the news that she woke up, everyone grabbed their overnight bags prepared as if someone was delivering a baby, and stayed overnight.

When Izeiah stood up for the first time in months, pity overflowed from their eyes. She was so thin. Super thin. Furthermore, she just received the worst news anyone waking up from a coma would have not liked to hear.

"Due to your health and the state of your body, you should avoid eating chocolates."

Her jaw dropped so low it could reach the ground. Then she glanced hatefully to the crowd observing her as if she was a monkey in a zoo.

"Hindi ba kayo uuwi?" tanong ni Izeiah for the umpteenth time. Sabay sabay silang umiling.

"We have to witness the time when you actually die." Sarkastikong sabi ni Green. Sinamaan lang siya ng tingin ni Izeiah.
